We really went from "Ladies and gentlemen, will you please stand?" to "We hereby conduct this post mortem"

Spelling D I Y I N G wrong when ms Taylor perfectly spells it out for you 😭

With so much sadness on this album, I'm truly so happy that Taylor and her beloved ghost get to sit in a tree and do DIYs
Edit: With spotify wrapped coming out I fear I must admit that How did it end? ended up being my nr1 listened to song in 2024 and I blame this comment

i feel like Peter is what happened after Cardigan. She grew up and realized he would never do it. And mind you, Betty knew they were like Peter and Wendy. And James had always put himself in the "oh I'm just a kid" pisition.

DIYing!? 😭
"hey kids! spelling is fun!"

“How did it end” encapsulating the feeling of sadness and embarrassment of having to tell/explain to the people in your life why a long term relationship has ended while still trying to wrap your mind around what happened is so accurate.

so glad this is happening even though we did not technically get the 100k

People will assume a woman is stupid before they assume she’s not being serious.

"D-I-Y-I-N-G OHHHH MY GOD HOW DID I MISS THAT" and he STILL missed by incorrectly spelling it im in tears

i think you have to understand that the front half is complete delusion and mania, while the back half is coming down from the whirlwind of her life and looking back at everything that has happened in such a “short” period of time for her. the two can stand alone and they are both phenomenal

I feel like Peter is not getting as much praise as it should be, but the girls that get it get it 😭

Folklore and evermore are sisters but TTPD and Anthology are two best friends with same love injuries, but the expression is different.(Troy ily)

he posted the two videos 13 days apart. genius.

the Manuscript is the best closer she has ever written and I'll die on this hill.. it makes me cry everytime :'(

She connects So Long London with So High School with the titles. One she’s pissed she wasted her youth and the other she gets it back.  Also past love songs always had a little anxiety worrying the person would leave her and accepting her partners dark moods (shades of blue). SHS is a pure happy carefree love song.

You need the first (main) album to fully get THIS part. Part 1: anger, confusion, depression, resentment and Part 2 is: reflecting, understanding, acceptance, and moving on.

The first part HAD to sound disjointed and chaotic bc that's how she was feeling. Beautiful concept album.

am i the only person that only conceives ttpd as the anthology?! i don't think they are two albums (e.g. folklore and evermore); like if she wanted us to make this distinction, she would have released ttpd (16 songs) and the anthology (15 songs) but she didn't...

My 32 year old cousin who has been a Swiftie since she was 16 recently had a breakup with her long term partner a few months before TTPD came out. She told me that this entire album has been so incredibly painful to listen to since the experiences are the same. She said that hearing The Black Dog made her throw up the first time she heard it because it was so gut wrenchingly similar to how she felt. It’s truly the most DEVASTATING song she’s ever written.

"Blood's thick, but nothing like a payroll" is such a BRUTAL line
