My small workshop is always short on storage, so this week I'm making much better use of the wall space by building a set of pull-out wall cabinets — or “Drawerbinets!”

Each cabinet is built from 18mm plywood and mounted on heavy-duty drawer slides, allowing the entire cabinet to pull forward. Instead of reaching into the back of a normal wall cupboard, I can bring everything out to me and get full access to the tools, sanding gear, glues and other workshop supplies stored inside.

A quick credit where it's due: this isn't my original idea. I first saw the “Drawerbinet” concept on the Lincoln St. Woodworks YouTube channel and thought it was such a clever solution that I wanted to build my own version for my workshop. I'll leave a link to his channel below — definitely go and check out his work.

This is another step towards getting as much usable storage as possible into my small workshop, and I'm really pleased with how these turned out.

If you enjoyed the build, please consider subscribing — there are plenty more workshop builds, storage ideas and DIY projects coming.

Thanks for watching!
