💻 Website designed by 👉 https://connectalia.com 💪 VIDEO SUMMARY:
This is how I experienced the Val d'Aran by UTMB 2026 from the inside, in the TDL distance (72 km and more than 5,000 meters of elevation gain). I share the strategy that allowed me to maintain a steady pace, climb through the ranks to finish among the best, and see how training with less volume, more strength, and power walking can make all the difference in an ultra trail race.
⏱️ HIGHLIGHTS:
00 – Introduction and atmosphere before the start.
24 – Official start of the TDL!
16 – Race goal and strategy for the first 20 km.
46 – The importance of maintaining a steady pace.
30 – First positions and aiming for a Top 20 finish.
00 – Encountering the fog and the first major climb.
49 – Assessment after 17 km and 2,000 m of elevation gain.
13 – Very positive feelings and entering the Top 10.
50 – Confirmation of the Top 10 finish and race analysis.
19 – Unexpected problem: a trekking pole breaks.
47 – Now in seventh position and maintaining a good pace.
34 – Total fog: "It looks like Mordor."
15 – Moving up to sixth place and the last major climb.
02 – Live calls with the team during the race.
28 – Why is this training working so well?
21 – How to run faster by training fewer kilometers.
41 – Nutrition strategy at the aid station.
23 – Final climb with the Top 6 still up for grabs.
55 – Gap with the pursuers and managing the lead.
20 – Final aid station and calculating the final time.
47 – Final descent to the finish line at a very high pace.
14 – Crossing the finish line and celebrating the Top 6!
34 – The UTMB vest collection.
05 – How the team provided live updates throughout the race.
