As a skandinavien we sometimes forget how beautiful our own countries are. I love when properties like these are renovated by people who have the time and money and of course the vision and talent to make something unique. What a wonderful place - and home 🏠

The homeowner, Erik, is very fortunate to live within such an exquisite property. I have travelled on every habitable continent doing humanitarian work so I have seen a fair amount of the world. This home exquistely beautiful. It is airy, bright, and cozy since it does not have high ceilings. The furnitures perfectly matches the architecture of the home. It is not overly decorated maintaining its Scandinavian simplicity. The outdoor area is just heavenly. To add, Norwegians are patriotic. When I visited Norway back over 15+ years ago, I've noticed homes have their Norwegian flags hanging in their homes. It adds color to some large white-washed homes.

The location is lovely but really this is best suited to people indigenous to the area, which is great because, unlike Dubai that has no real indigenous culture, the culture here is being nourished and preserved. I think the world needs more places like this, and fewer Dubais, which is not a culturally enriching place. Here in Norway there in depth, Dubais shallow. -Anyway, good job here Sander!

The house and property are beautiful. I was impressed by the collection of artwork (sculpture, paintings, etc) throughout. I was equally captivated by the well composed shots of the home's interior - especially when through a window capturing views of the surrounding property and fjord. The pacing of the shots/edits/narration of the video helped to enhance the feel of the place - well done.

So glad they kept the old trees. Aside from adding to the beauty, trees are important ecosystems for, birds, reptiles, insects and small mammals.

Outdoors is perfect, the setting is very much loved and it shows. Indoors is decorated as it should be, but completely impersonal. The decorator from Oslo came and that was it. But the garden is magical and very much his own personal vision.
