Friends is written by Jimin and it has a "soulmate" 4 O'Clock written by V. both written after the dumpling incident because of the dimpling incident. The dream catcher mentioned on the song is actually a gift Jimin gave V. it was during some time when he always gets a nightmare and instead of Jimin buying something for himself he bought V a dreamcatcher.

Friends is written by Jimin , 4 o clock written by v , written after the dumpling incident 💜

V wrote “4 o’clock” for Jimin while he’s waiting for Jimin in the park at 4am to talk abt their dumpling incident. I hope you listen to it, it’s a collab of V and Rm. It’s a very emotional song like Tae loves Jimin so much. Remember V’s letter to Jimin in Bon voyage 2 , like they’re just soulmate , 😭😭

Such a fun song, and it was also used in the soundtrack of the Marvel movie production, 'Eternals!

We can say that Taehyung is everything to Jimin😭; he loves him so much that he composed and wrote this song for him. Their relationship is very strong, and they love each other very much. And Jimin, as usual, is the biggest supporter of the members in everything When Tae performed his solo song "Inner Child" after a period of depression, Jimin was crying backstage and was so proud of him. After the performance, Jimin kissed Tae's hand; it was the cutest thing ever. . Thank you for your reaction. 💜

The lyric “Hello my Alien” was because in the past, V was ever referred to as ‘alien’ because of his unique way of thinking, and people just found him different - but in a good way, and even Suga said that V was a genius in his own unique way.

Jimin always claiming that he's good at cooking rice is hilarious 😭😭 like who isn't good at cooking rice? he's such a cutie

This friendship, Jimin and V...forever and ever!

V and Jimin have the LITERAL SWEETEST bond. Peak best friend energy. Lot of jabbing at each other, teasing and going back and forth but when the time counts, they'll be there for each other in a fraction of a second, before anyone else. They see through each other better than anyone else ever could.

This song actually became an official soundtrack of the Marvel movie Eternals too :)

They are the same age and finished school together. Tae went to the school before him so before Jimin came Tae asked his friends to please be kind to Jimin.

Jimin is the writer, composer & producer of ‘Friends’, he wrote the melody first & then the lyrics. Friends got nominated for Gaon as the song of the year along with Filter, making Jimin the 1st & Only member. It’s a part of marvel movies soundtrack. So proud of him!

The 95'ers! In Korean culture there is a high value placed on friends & relatives born in the same year. Jimin and V have always been close due to sharing 1995.

I think there was another anecdote about how tae and Jimin recorded messages for each other in the track while recording the song. So when they would come to record their parts they'd listen to the message left by the other. I think it's just so sweet

"Friends" is such a unique song in BTS discography. It has a big, anthemic, Broadway musical vibe which I absolutely love! And of course the lyrics are adorbs. 💜
