Also, the boys were NEVER given the option NOT to serve.  The Korean government jerked them around for years, talking about a possible exemption because of their cultural contributions, but it was very controversial because idols had never received that before. The boys finally got tired of it, and said, "We're going, you can't control us".

Oh nooo, u guys watch it in the reverse order…

18:23 Suga did not have a formal entrance ceremony persay because he was enlisted to more of a civil section, akin to an office desk job, because of his shoulder injury.

Guys, the members are inside the military.... They upload the photos because they are getting holidays, so in this holiday they come online

2 days left for Namjoon / Taehyung’s return
3 days left for Jimin / Jungkook’s return
13 days left for Yoongi’s return"
❤🎉

6:13 They DIDN'T have the choice ! It IS MANDATORY in Korea

18:48 RM V JK Jimin Suga ARE NOTTTTTTT OUTTTTTTTTTT.

EDIT - RM AND V ARE NOW OUTTTTTTTTT 😭

*** MILITARY Service IS MANDATORY. They DON't  have a Choice. SUGA is in a Different Division Because of his Shoulder.

It was the first time Jimin and V were seperated since high school🥹

6:08 Seb, going to the military in South Korea is not a choice even in other Asian countries like Taiwan. Between 18 and 30 years you have to go in the military for a year. If you don’t there will be consequences like imprisonment. So it’s not by choice.

The BTS members' service was 100% mandatory. They weren't volunteering. They enlisted at different times due to the different plans each had for their solo music. For example, Suga went on tour before he enlisted, and J-Hope went on tour after he got back. Jimin and Jungkook enlisted using the buddy system, which allows people from the same town to stay within the same unit. Due to Suga's shoulder injury, his enlistment was different. He basically has an office job within the military, but he has to serve for longer. BTS is the first K-Pop group to ever have all their members enlist at the same time. The younger ones could've waited years and focused on their solo careers, but BTS is 7 and they wanted to be able to regroup as soon as possible 💜

Jin was oldest and had to go first.  SUGA delayed his entry for the Busan concert, and his civil service lasts longer than active military, which is why he won’t be out until the very end of FESTA 2025.  RM delayed his entry date to have personal time working that led to an album & a movie.  Jimin & JK enlisted together in the buddy system, which ensures two enlisted will be placed in the same unit(?) or group(?) and serve together so they can support each other.  They all worked like crazy ahead of time to create music & media to be released while they were in the military and unable to “participate in idol activities”.   And now you have to watch FESTA 2022 to hear their thoughts about the whole thing, because that is when they first shared their plans with ARMY.

22.12.13 - 24.06.12 JIN
23.4.3 - 24.10.17 JHOPE
23.12.11 - 25.06.10 RM&V
23.12.12 - 25.06.11 JIMIN&JK
23.09.22 - 25.06.21 SUGA

Usually serving 18months, but Suga serves 21months in a public institution because of shoulder surgery.
They’ll comeback soon~~~~~~❤

They didn't have a choice..it's a mandatory service.

You guys saw it in the reverse order.
Jin was first,
Namjoon and Taehyung second
Junkook and Jimin third.
Yoongi went to a different kind of service that's why it wasn't documented.

Namjoon and Taehyung will be out on the 10th of June
Junkook and Jimin will be out on the 11th of June.
Suga will be out on the 21st of June
Only Jin and Jhope are out.  Please you guys, pay attention to little details, it helps,  read the comment section too. I know there may be a lot of hate comments but reading the comments section helps you guys in informations you are lacking.

Please listen to all the tracks in individuals solo albums, it will help.

On jin”s discharge from military all the members reunited. U guys can watch that!

17:31 no… the difference you think there is is because with Jin left first and it kinda did not sink in for any of them. If you still paid attention in the Jin’s video though later you could see everyone’s eyes were moist and RM said he’s sad even then.

v and rm has the same training station so they were together for 5 weeks before they separated to their own stations. While Jimin and Jungkook are the only members who went in using the buddy system, which meant they will stay together (same station, same room, same living hall, same platoon) for the whole year and a half. The rest of the members went separately. The order they enlisted is like this Jin, Jhope, Suga, Rm & V, Jimin & Jungkook. That's why Jin and Jhope are already out and about right now, touring, new albums, new shows, etc. The rest will be out in less than a month!!!

To add some more details to the videos, all the members came during the others' entrance ceremony, they took vacations to send their brothers away, but were kept out of the videos because the military act wont allow soldiers to be apart of any other work outside of military. That's why you can kinda hear Jin's laugh and see Jhope's hand throughout the first video you watched. Jhope and Suga were the only ones who came to Jimin & JK entrance ceremony, but for the rest, all of them came.

also, about Suga, he's doing office works because he's not fit for physical labour due to his shoulder surgery. they are all very sad about the enlistment of the members because the stakes are high, you don't really know what could happened in the military, someone could get hurt, could get called to war with North Korea, and stuffs like that. That's why they felt heavily about this, as it is not just a vacation.

They are allowed to post on social media or even to go live on weverse. They often met each other during their military vacations. Other than that, Jin and Jhope went live and record videos during their discharged. Jin's discharge was especially funny, as all of the members came (took leaves) to greet him outside of his station and RM even played the saxaphone. Yall can find all these online. Just type "Jin military discharged, Jin's Weverse live. J-Hope discharged, etc."

Jhope is currently on a world tour (im shocked yall havent heard of this), Jin just released his second album since he was discharged, and is preparing to go on tour around the world. Both of them are very very very active right now, they do so many variety shows, so many collabs, even one with Tom Cruise today.

And now it's time for their discharge
Only 3 days left for RM and V(10june)
4 days(11june) left fir JK and Jimin & finally 21june for suga 💜

I love you guys, but it wouldn't hurt if you did a little research. RM has been in the military band. You have to apply and pass a test. V has served in the special forces. Again, he requested and qualified.  The order of enlistment was Jin, J-Hope, Suga (civil service), RM and V, then Jimin and Jungkook.

Who told you they had choice. In the Democratic Republic of Korea, any man who has reached the age of majority (20 years) must serve in the military for at least 18 months. I’m not sure but I think they can postpone their enrollment date three times maximum.
