Fun fact!

Miss Spink and Miss forable are CANONICALLY confirmed as a Couple! Idk if they are married but they are together

I fell asleep in bed watching this when you first uploaded, so I didnt even get to see it all so this is the perfect reminder lol

Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders were a famous comedy duo in the UK and the characters designs of Spink and Forcible were partially based on the way they look irl - but the characters didn't properly click as originally written so they swapped over and then it worked apparently.

36:26-36:33 No wonder, that’s Keith David doing the voice of the cat.

It’s funny to think that he also voiced Dr. Facilier in The Princess and the Frog within the same year this movie came out.

29:11 omg I just realized: the other father said "She knows you like the back of her hand." and what did the two elderly women warned Coraline about? A terrible hand reaching out. I've rewatched this movie more times than I can count (cause I rewatch using people's reactions too lmao) but I keep finding new things to be amazed at

1:50-1:59 You are totally right. This was directed by Henry Selick, who was the director of The Nightmare Before Christmas. That movie is often mistaken for a Tim Burton movie because they slapped his name on all the advertising in the name of publicity, when he only produced the movie.

Man with my awful memory I was just like "wait omg you haven't seen it!?" I literally watched your reaction not long ago and I forgot it🤣

This is great timing, since Laika’s newest movie, Wildwood, is coming to theaters in about a couple of weeks, as I write this.

The movie does a good job at showing that the adults are doing what they can and are just stressed out with the move and work. The movie shows us Coralines perspective so it looks like the parents are just ignoring her. Not neglecting like some other reactors say because they feed her and take her shopping for school. Adults generally see more from the parents perspective and can see they are just distracted at the moment. And movie ultimately gives that “the grass isn’t greener” type of message. But the mom is kinda rude lol. But it could be her way of lashing out when she’s stressed.

You guys definitely need to watch Paranorman!! It is sooooooo good!

Now one of the things I love about this movie is the creator said everything means something! And I know you guys made a joke about the mice knowing her name but that is such a huge clue! The only beings that know her correct name used it while warning her! She should've listened lol 😆

Can't wait for Coraline Remake, aka "Other Mommy" hahaha

@MovieFan1912 1 day ago

2:33-2:37 Exactly. That’s what makes movies from studios such as Laika or Aardman so special.

aint no way the actual upload got removed. you barely showed anything this is ridiculous. im glad i watched it when you released it but time to rewatch to give you my view back. <3 you guys are awesome

33:37-33:41 That offhand comment about the school uniforms made me remember how stark the color contrast in this movie is between the real world and the “Other World.”

This movie is so good, and so is Laika.

24:35-24:38 actually went back to that scene, and you were right. That lightning bolt DID look like a hand at 17:23.

I had to put in slow motion and pause it at just the right moment, but you are absolutely correct.

I had seen this movie before, but I didn’t notice that subtle detail.
