As a big Richard Curtis fan here, that was a beautiful watchalong with you, James. And a special thanks to yer sis for this gem of a recommendation. I'm surprised you didn't 'round up' and make it a Rachel McAdams/time travel week, lol. She's also in 2009's The Time Traveler's Wife.

This is one of my top five movies of all time. It never ceases to move me. Thank you so much for reacting to it. 😊

I love this movie! It's been a favorite since I first saw it and I cry every time. And "How Long Will I Love You," as originally recorded by The Waterboys, immediately went onto my "Favorites" playlist. A lovely film with a perfect message: be mindful, live the life in front of you, and cherish every moment with those you love. ❤

"About Time" is one of my favorites. I was born in 1966. Ordinary People, Out of Africa, Green Mile, Breakfast Club, High Plains Drifter . . .variety is the spice of life.

One of my all time favorite movies. It had all 3 elements that make for a great movie; time travel, fantastic writing, and great acting.

A great movie, and although it's regarded as a "time travel" movie it's also about father/son love.
Domhnall Gleeson (like his father Brendan) is a great actor who can play comedy, romance or drama with ease.

I agree with your wife. I watch the groom, too. There are only a few moments to capture those few emotions on his face, but you have the entire wedding day to enjoy the bride's gown.
The change I would make: take better care of my health from an earlier age.

Wow, no one I know has ever even heard of this movie. So glad to see someone reacting to it.

Time travel? I sure hooe "The Time Machine" makes the cut, either the original OR the remake. Both are good in their own rights.

Yes, you caught a couple Harry Potter actors, but you missed the most obvious.
The red haired star of this film played Ron Wesley's oldest brother.
Ron's brother ends up marrying the French girl Ron had the crush on in The Goblet Of Fire. He marries her the night Harry turns 17.

Some mentioned The Time Traveler's Wife, a good book and a great movie.
And Rachel McAdams is also the romantic lead.
I highly recommend it. And I suggest keeping some tissues nearby.

Oh, and McAdams also plays Dr Strange's love of his life.
