A great day for generic characters everywhere!

The most insane part of this video is the casual mention that he has never watched a simpsons episode

Honestly even just calling the challenge "100% as a Passenger" would dodge the semantics concerns

I will say, I do love how every citizen in Springfield drops everything to help the Simpson’s characters though. Heck of a community.

It's okay, Skinner's mother didn't blow up.  It's just the Northern Lights.

Alternate title: can you beat Simpsons hit&run without a license?

The fact that he doesnt pick up the coins after every vehicle destruction is seriously messing with my mind

"The Sports car is literally the weakest a car can be".
The Speed Rocket from Level 1: "Am I a joke to you?"

(I know it is a secret vehicle and not an NPC one, but you get the point)

Note that the star ratings are just rough guidelines for their internal stats; there's actually some variance. A really obvious example of this is with the Rocket Car you can find in level 1 (whose star ratings can be seen with the "All Cars" cheat); it has a half-star of toughness, but it blows up at the slightest breeze. The wiki says that its internal durability is just .3, compared to a vehicle like the Open Wheel Race Car which has an internal durability of 1.0, despite also having a half-star of toughness. Funnily enough, the Witch Broom apparently has the lowest durability at .1, but vehicle weight is apparently very important for determining damage and the broom is very light, so in practice it ends up being much more durable than the rocket. I have no idea where they're getting the specific numbers though.

winning a race on foot is similar to McQueen pulling his tongue out moment 😂

How'd you like a newspaper upside your head?

Nothing... is stronger... than an NPC's... dream!!!

Fun fact: Simpsons Hit and Run is the longest piece of Simpsons content to not contain a gay joke.

28:09 genuine question. If the Simpsons wasn’t allowed in your house and you’ve never seen it, what compelled you to ever play this game?

Those Generic Characters remember when Homer saved Springfield's bus system from Mr. Burns. They're more than happy help out!

Zenith rolling in his grave rn

54:30 you're supposed to drive up the ramp to launch yourself onto the roof

18:37 The nonchalance of the delivery of that line is hilarious when you realize that, considering who you're playing as and who you hit, that's your aunt.
