I deadass thought this was a meme like the "American Dad Intro" "speedrun" but... no it's actual speed runners in an actual Family Guy game

this is exactly why i love the speedrunning community. one random youtube comment blows things up and HUGE time saves are found

I never thought I would hear "The testicles is a notoriously difficult section for speedrunners" in my life but here we are

I hated this game so much as a teenager when it came out that I ran it over with my car to destroy it. It was mostly the Brian stealth parts that did it. I hate forced stealth.

Can’t wait for the “Hey Lois, this is worse than that time I became a speedrunner!” cutaway gag.

Man, that crash 40 minutes into your run hurt my soul

The speedrunner's curse

I can't believe I'm saying this but it's kinda charming how much this game looks like the show at times

34:45 "...and then do a hot-dog eating contest with Ghandi" is one configuration of words I never expected to hear in my life.

My husband just walked by and heard, “… saves a lot of time in the testicles.. the testicles is a notoriously difficult section”..
WTF ARE YOU LOOKING AT?!” Lmao

I had this game as a kid and accidentally did the out of bounds glitch during one of the Brian sections. I was very confused, but brushed it off as a one-off freak accident lol. Wild to see 15 years later that not only is there a speedrunning community for this game, but also that out of bounds glitches are a known thing and actually used in runs

"The testicles is a notoriously difficult section for speedrunners" Absolutely incredible

Damn this game has such surprisingly good textures and just the rendering in general. I grew up with a hundred and one different 3D video games based off of 2D cartoons between 2000 to now and this game seems to pull it off so well compared to other titles

Long story short on Bertram lore, Stewie at one point shrunk down to enter into Peter’s testicles (I think it was to render him infertile out of fear he and Lois would have another kid) and met him as a sperm (basically depicted as a fully developed baby in a sci-fi work uniform), where the two hit it off remarkably well after an extremely even fight to the death. In a later episode, Peter went to a sperm bank and knocked over a bunch of samples while trying to use the bathroom (he closed the door before flipping the light switch and couldn’t find it), forcing him to clean the mess and basically replace the lost samples himself on the spot. Literally the moment Peter left, a lesbian couple came in and ended up using one of his samples to conceive a baby. Thus Bertram was born, retaining his memories of his last meet with Stewie, and the two have been mortal enemies since.

Imagine being one of the game developers/coders for a game and then watching a speedrun. I just imagine them being like: “Oh shit we completely forgot about that.”

Seeing Peter Griffin run full tilt into a black void is the most hilarious thing I have ever seen

So they were going to arrest a dog for being intimate with another dog, but not even bat an eye when a HUMAN gets a dog pregnant

How much does anyone want to bet that those clips to skip cutscenes were actually for the devs to be able to skip them during game testing 💀💀

The last time I felt this kind of pride in the speedrunning community was when I watched the ICarly 2 speedruns. Humanity truly can achieve anything.

Finding this video was a nice surprise. I love this game and truly believe it’s the greatest to speedrun. Someday I’ll be back. Thank you EZ! I would not have started running this game when I did if you hadn’t done your runs. This was a childhood game of mine and you reminded me how much I loved it back then. I’m so happy with how far the game has come. I never thought we’d be able to go so fast.
