THEY TOLD HER TO SHUT UP | The Subcommittee on Constitutional Accusations mocked the request of former Prime Minister Mirtha Vásquez, who faces a constitutional complaint filed by Manuel Merino during her time as President of Congress.
Vásquez requested that due process be respected, stating that she had been denied access to the documents for which she is being accused. However, the Subcommittee's president, María Acuña Peralta (APP), dismissed her complaint and told her that she should go to Congress herself to find out about the charges against her, suggesting that she had been caught out.
Reluctantly, the Subcommittee had to agree to suspend the summons, but not before a tense exchange with Fujimorist congresswoman Martha Moyano, who ended up raising her voice at Vásquez and demanding "respect" for the Subcommittee.
