Season 2 was phenomenal. The road to hell is paved with good intentions…

Absolutely goated series and season...binged it in 2 days

More 2-3 years of waiting for season 3❤

Great recap, thanks!

The undercurrents that drive character development are straight out of the Godfather.

Man i love this series

the scene of the price of a cash strapped lord made me spit out my coffee it was so funny 😂😂😂😂😂

I haven't seen the whole season yet (up to episode 3), therefore, I'm not watching this video recap 😋, but so far, Season 2's got a very The Godfather vibe to it. The corruption of Eddie very much reminds me of the corruption of Michael...it's even got a christening scene. Anyone else think so? Or am I jumping the gun since I haven't seen the whole season yet?

ok episode 6 and it's getting blatantly obvious that big man Ritchie took entire subplots from the Godfather, I can predict what's gonna happen next, which does make me feel rather clever.. Funny and wild, and just like the Godfather, also a metaphor for late stage capitalism - generational wealth always has dirt at its roots and  big business and big crime speak the exact same language - easy now guv'nor

**SPOILERS (Even though this is a recap video)**

**To avoid the comment preview**

**Hope you're having a good day**

It was probably just me, but there was enough time between seasons (and only the two leads were really promoted in ads) that I had completely forgotten who Gospel John (bushy beard religious man) was. When he first was shown in S2, I thought he was a new character. Imagine my surprise when he was behind the trouble in the latter half of the season. To me, it came out of nowhere. It didn't have the same payoff the writers may have wanted. I think that's a major problem with the release schedules of shows these days that are supposed to be "Prestige". Apart from the absolutely main characters, it can be hard to remember the entire story 2 years after the fact without needing to watch a recap video.

Doesn't really explain away the Godfather 2 part, but the above threw me off more.

Why is it that in British movies/ series 80% of brits people are still white. However, when you go to England London we noticed that ONLY like 35% of brits are still white????????? 😂😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣

Freddy like Fredo, must die 💀🤷🏾‍♂️. Argue wityo momma

Season 1 was great and this is shit

Unlike Season 1, which was brilliantly fun, with well written characters and hilarious dialogue, season 2 is awful. Boring, slow, every fun character drained of any humour. Totally disappointing with a very lame Godfather 2 rip off plot.

Superb writing by Guy Richie.
It is modern day Godfather in hell's grip.
Eddie becomes more ruthless and strategic as Michael Corleone did - right to the bitter end.
...But he knows DEEP DOWN to keep his family's name alive he must soon marry to have a future heir for the estate... But which woman will he choose for this?? Season 3 might reveal, ... perhaps.

its all a bit smug and look how clever i am if you get me?!
