Apparently, the official reason why you can't have more than six pokemon in your party is that six is considered the maximum amount on where the trainer can still give adequate love, time and care to their pokemon.
To think a simple game had more sense than some parents...

I’ve seen like a dozen videos about Karissa Collins but nobody seems to point out that her children are so desensitized to their crowded home life that nobody reacts the first time she says she has 12 children. They don’t even realize there aren’t ALREADY twelve of them until she repeats herself

"My daughter shows being happy through looking absolutely miserable for valid reasons"

As on of 13 kids, I can assure you it is, in fact a nightmare. Most of us are no contact with our parents now.

This is the perfect example of parentification & child exploitation. A unknown fact about this woman, she admitted on a video interview that she almost killed their dogs. They went away on vacation & instead of having someone care for the animals, she left a bunch of wet food out. The food spoiled in the heat, became rotten & the dog ate it becoming very ill almost dying.
She also left her baby who wasn't moving or responding to go out to lunch instead of taking the baby to the hospital. Several of her kids have had life threatening issues & she was told not to have more kids.
I actually despise this woman. Sadly, we are going to see something very tragic happen with these kids.

"Their siblings will be in their life a lot longer than we will" If you keep up what you're doing you're goddamn right about that.

Oh, but she is anti-medicine. One of her kids almost died from sepsis from an untreated UTI.

Genuinely believe that when she said “12 children!” during the song and the children didn’t react at first is not because they didn’t hear but because they literally lost count of how many siblings they already have

Some people heard about the 100 babies challenge and didn't realize it was part of the Sims.

Baby #12 was found to not have a heartbeat. She was offered a D&C but refused it because she wants to pass the embryo naturally. Its been a few weeks now. She is playing a dangerous game right now.

18:22 There's a miscommunication here between Karissa and our dear Kiwi, because Kiwi (understandably) hasn't yet grasped the extent of Karissa's madness.

Karissa is saying that your hypothetical, future children's lives are worth creating, even if that means neither them nor your existing children get alone time with their parents. This woman has equated not having more children with denying children life. She actually advises parents that are thinking of not having more kids, to look at their youngest child, imagine it's their NEXT child, and tell them "I can't give you life because (fill in the blank)," and that's supposed to make them decide to carry on pumping out more babies. Absolutely bonkers behavior.

I watch a lot of interviews with people raised in cults and they say things like “My mom only had 10 kids.” As an only child, it makes my head spin.

On the homeschooling topic, no its not working for them. If you look through the fundie snark subreddit you will find many examples of videos showing that her older kids can barely read, let alone anything else.

I keep wondering why these huge families always seem to homeschool and I realize it could be the religious angle but then I realized maybe there's also another reason... Keeping the kids isolated from other kids so they don't realize just how messed up their life is.

Also if "God" wanted a woman pregnant and she's on birth control it would still happen... Birth control isn't 100% no baby guarantee, and he made a virgin pregnant...
Weird how these Christians seem to think he's omnipotent but also not...

My father is 1 of 12 children. 3 sets of twins. The older ones raised the youngest, and when the oldest had a child out of wedlock at 16 the baby was raised like a sibling and therefore raised by by aunts and uncles.

I no longer speak to my father if that tells you how he turned out.

As the second youngest of 10, YIKES. This should NOT be normalised or glorified. Neglect is rife and I won't be surprised when it comes out there's abuse too

I’m one of 3 kids(Triplets) and my mom would take us out one on one time every once of while. We’d have lunch and hang out. We also would have a special night where one of us would get to stay up a little later to watch something. I look back on that fondly and I’m glad my mother took the time to get to know us and our interests individually

She mentions IXL. My kids do IXL over the summer. It's a website where the kids are teaching themselves within their grade level basically. I'd definitely say it's not a replacement for school

Girl really said “less is more”
Ma’am you have 12 kids…?
