Thank you guys so much for the support on this video. It has blown my hopes and expectation out of the water, this genuinely makes me excited and motivated to keep putting things out. I appreciate you all ❤

What I would give to experience this game for the first time... Welcome to D2!!

Biggest tip I can give: Don't worry about playing "correctly" or "optimally" with a classic like this. You absolutely shouldn't be overwhelmed or stressed out. Explore, experiment, relax, and just have fun!

Amazing video!! Really good edits and cuts! I can’t wait for the next one, so I’m about to binge your streams now haha. It’s so funny (and really interesting) seeing this game, which I’ve been playing for 27 years myself, through completely new eyes

Once a week!? I need my fix every day! This was soooo good!

Ladder is just a seasonal event that make players race to lvl.99.  It used to be important for getting new runewords, since they weren't avalaible in non-ladder Online, but not anymore.

good summon necro build is just max skeletons + mastery, then a few points in amplify dmg curse, and then corpe eksplosion for late game

People tell you not to worry about the mana but they should also tell you what you should do about the mana in this game while you're leveling so here's usually what I do on high mana consumption builds:

1. First 3 levels into energy (optional)
2. Insert 2 chipped sapphires to any 2 open socket helmet and also body armor if you don't have stealth yet
3. Make "Nadir" runeword at level 13
4. In the meantime I look for +1 to mana after each kill on rings it's op early game
5. In the meantime look for charms +mana one good grand charm can solve your problems
6. Upgrade "Nadir" to "Lore" once you get a sol rune
7. Watch the good guide on the Larzuk quest once you get to Act 5 and check how to make Spirit sword and Insight easily (Larzuk quest is tricky don't mess it up)
7. Try to get 4 open socket one handed sword preferably crystal sword because drip
8. Try to get 4 open socket polearm for your act 2 mercenary
9. Make "Spirit" runeword inside your crystal sword
10. Make "Insight" runeword inside your mercenary polearm

Your mana issues are basically fixed with only these steps with 0 points invested in energy. Learn how runewords work and choose few easy ones to aim for because D2 without the runewords is a completely different game. You need to cap your resistances and have a lot of health and that's the most important thing you need to worry about when you click "C".

It's good you opted out from adding to teeth. Summon + corpse explosion works much better. Teeth needs too many skill points to make it work on a summoning necro so that would be miserable. On the other hand corpse explosion is op and doesn't need additional synergies as far as I know.

Really nice to see someone playing D2 for the first time! Glad you gave it a chance even though it feels a bit clunky compared to the newer ARPGs. It still has a ton of charm!

you came from poe.. you dont get to say overwhelming in regard to diablo 2

Max - Skeleton Mastery
Max - Raise Skeleton
1 Point - Amplify Damage (for mobs)
1 Point - Decrepify (for bosses)
10+ Points - Corpse explosion (massive AOE damage, especially on monsters cursed with Amplify Damage)

Clay Golem adds to the slow effect of Drecrepify which is nice I guess, and Bone Armour is another 1 point wonder.
It's the classic Fishymancer build, thats slow but can easily walk through any area in Hell without a problem.

[Edit] Also get yourself a mercenary from Act 2 nightmare with the 'Might' aura for extra damage.

I tried playing it for about 10 minutes and it was very overwhelming. All I remember was going in a cave, dying and lost everything.

Really fun to watch someone new play the game, gives me hope.

Can't wait for the next episode. Hope you enjoyed you Diablo journey!

First mercenary is free and is automatically hired from Kashya as a reward from killing Blood Raven. If she dies, you can ressurect her speaking to Kashya (in Act 1; in other acts, you go to the merc dealer of the place). The mercenary has an inventory, press O to see it, you can equip some items on the mercenary, the weapon of Rogue merc is the bow; better bows, better attacks for her.

Discovering D2's mechanics is quite an experience and the learning of it is something you can only do once and it can be spoiled. I strongly recommend you to have as little back-sitting as possible. Veteran D2 players will shower you with information to make you have better results faster but that will rob you of discovering the game at your own pace and unless you're a totally results oriented person, there's actually a lot of fun in playing the game suboptimally. With that said, welcome!

28:33 Kashia: thank you, I ordered Amplisa to join you for free
28:52 KoalaLumpur: I want to replace my hireling, because I don't have any
Amplisa: 🗿🗿🗿

pres Fn buttons on quickskill menu to bind them.

You met coldcrow, the most OP mini boss in the game considering the level you meet her at.

really had to laugh reading the title cause i thought the opposite when i started POE xd

Amazing job
