It's really amazing seeing you try out pd2, path of exile and many other great games were a large inspiration to many of the changes that we've introduced into project diablo 2 and it's an honor to see you give it a go as one of the arpg legends <3 I still remember playing PoE 1 in some of its earliest closed playtests and being excited for act 2 to be added and now its a golden standard in arpgs

We've tried really hard to respect the original experience while modernizing / expanding upon it so I'm quite excited to see your opinions on those in a blind or semi blind playthrough as you get further into end game content and will be following closely!

You underestimate that many of us like to see how you play arpgs and what you think while playing it. You clearly descibed your though process while playing and i really appreciate that you are taking your time for these little things and show us how an experienced dev/gamer see things. I also find it really cute how you are giving back to the arpg these via creating content with devs from different games or simple by playing like PD2. Project Diablo 2 is like a small family who really care for Diablo 2 and i think by playing their Mod you show them much love and support them with it. You are a nice guy stay as you are greetings from Germany!

I started PD2 recently, myself.

i will never be able to play D2R again. The changes made in this mod are just so good and made in an intelligent way. They have really build upon vanilla D2 in a meaningful way.

It's really good, I highly recommend it to everyone playing ARPGs.

I still can't get over how good it is to hear "Hi, I'm Chris Wilson".  I thought we were doomed back in the day when you stopped doing it for GGG, and missed it so much.  Sorry the comment isn't a critique of the video. I've been watching all of them. PD2 is great.

Press the number "8" to view advanced stats.   Yes the bottom part is meant for the charm inventory, as well as anni/torch later on.   You can also lock that charm section in the lower right corner if you want.   The bigger inventory is for endgame maps there is a lot to pick up and if it was kept original it would be really annoying going back to town all the time.   This was a fantastic watch though I hope you keep playing PD2.  I absolutely love this mod.. edit,, also shrines stack, you could have also gotten the armor shrine at 57 minute mark
