Hello again!

Today's video is a little bit shorter than usual but (hopefully) a lot of fun. I'm showing you guys a couple of floor plans from my past design consultations that I found particularly satisfying and explaining the reasons for the changes I made.

I can say that as an interior & spatial designer, I see way too many new homes and renovations miss amazing opportunities for thoughtful moments in their floor plans, so I hope this might inspire some people out there to give a little extra thought to their designs :)

I have many more plans I've edited in my back pocket so if you liked this let me know! Will be back with an apartment update soooon

xx nd

Personally, I could watch floorplan tweaking for 2 hours continuously. Thanks Noah, great stuff!

I honestly think you could have an entire channel dedicated to this nitpicking of floorplans. It’s fantastic.

Architect here: first off, your changes to the villa plan are a HUGE improvement and very thoughtful. Second, you're very polite about architects sometimes under-considering the interiors of their buildings. I worked a decade for an interior designer and learned so much about how owners live in buildings... Keep making videos please!

If people don’t like looking at floor plans, they’ll move along. Those of us who do enjoy it will stay. Keep doing what you’re doing.

As a fellow nitpicker and lover of the abstract who enjoys staring at floor plans, I love videos such as these, even if they're not for everyone

This is so satisfying to watch. I'm amazed by your thought process and skills as always. I learn so much from your videos, thank you for doing this! ❤️

Hi! I’m a newly graduated architect. I went through your channel looking for similar videos and realized this is the only one. Hope you make more content like this!

Former interior designer here. Yay - I saw exactly the changes you made in both places. Thank you for fixing them! Interior designers do not get any where near the respect that they are due. Well done.

Fellow designer here and I LIVE for this kind of content. This video is how I found you, and I instantly subscribed! I agree with others that I could watch hours on end of floor plan tweaks. This was so satisfying - you did an excellent, thoughtful job!

I've been trying to design perfect floorplans since I was a kid. Apparently, I share this quirky obsession with others. I can't get enough! Thanks Noah.

LOVE this, I could watch all day. I studied interior design in the 80s and one gig was working for an architect. Some clearly give no more than a passing thought to how real people will use the building. Your video is spot on.

Architect student: love watching this. My fav part is to pause it and come up with my own then see what you do. Good stuff

i love this format!! i hate the trend of chopping out every pause between words and constant auditory stimulation. this video has such a calming vibe, on my way to part 2 now and then the rest of the channel 🥰

I absolutely adore floorplan editing videos! Since I was a kid, I have had an obsession w floor plans. I'd find them in architecture magazines and recreate them in the Sims when I was like 10 haha

oh my GOD how even does your brain function like this? these spaces get so much better after your ideas. pls make more of this!!!! so fun AND satisfying

your comment about not liking accent walls lived inside my head rent free for like a year - fast forward, I've repainted my living room / kitchen and my god does it look better. Removed all the accent walls in my apartment.

Please, make longer videos tweaking floor plans, it's not just so entretaining but I also like to think what the next tweak could be, kinda like a game. New subscriber by the way :)

This is the shit I like to do in the Sims lol.

From someone who works for a large commercial GC in a different construction world - These videos are incredible and so calming. Absolutely love them. Keep it up.
