It has potential and would save you buying a 35mm back ( if your camera system has one). Why not attach the already wasted exposed film to make a longer leader that way you would probably get another 3 shots per roll.

*FILLIM! *

Can I suggest using two sets of adaptors and feeding the film onto a blank reusable cartridge which will save having to remove the exposed film in a darkroom or changing bag.

I love how you say fil-em. Great video, very helpful

This would work well with the Kiev 60 6x6 which feeds the film horizontally.  And you can make a cutout frame out of paper to use to frame your pic in the viewfinder too.  Neat!

Thank you! Your videos are really amazing. Super easy to understand and clever, and also accessible. I'm excited to shoot 35mm panoramic in my rb67. Thanks!

Thank you very much, for this very informative video I'm so glad I went with Mamiya 645 which forced me into getting a prism finder and not a waist-level finder which strangely cost a tad bit more. I for one enjoy medium format cameras due to the look the images have or maybe it's just how a film looks once you use this type of camera. I hope to see more of your content keep shooting and enjoy the ride...

I use a  Mamiya rb67 you can winde film and shutter seperate its also 65mm wide image and film back can rotate.

Might try it on my Yashica MAT 124, good tip concerning 220. Regarding the VF, a prism would sort the problem out for vertical shots

good video, this is how the 'rolleikin' kits for  the Rollieflex TLR's functions, with a mask for the film 'gate' and the viewfinder.
BUT the Bronica (ETR\ETRS\ETRSi/SQ) is different, this has a specially designed 135 N/135W back for them, this is the same as you are doing, but a mask which the film goes under (for flatness), and a rewind knob!, so you can unload in the light, as the canister can be rewound outside of a darkbag ( the knob, like in a 35 slr camera acts on the canisters spool, whilst keeping the system light tight).

You are Sprocketholes? How am I just now finding your channel? I have been posting and consuming sprocket hole centric youtube shorts and you are literally Sprocketholes! The L bracket is a god send man. But honestly I really wanna get myself a 6x7 cam. Love the vid man. Thank you so much for sharing. Subscribed! I'd love it if you could scope out my sprocket shorts. They are very silly, not very educational, so you may get a laugh. Anyway its great running into a fellow sprocket rule breaker madman out here in the youtube wasteland

i just got a fuji 690 last week and i have those 120 adapter ordered, im looking forward to some long pano's

the 135 N/W backs make a different case for 135 in a MF camera, that is, a cheap way of testing a film stock, aka slide film, or a colour film, more expensive in the 120 format, so testing in 35 mm allows you to see the 'look' and decide if it is right for you, cheaply, and also one other case, that is if you need the 24 exposures, like a wedding or press photographer, where 12 is not enough for you (less changing out of film during a day's shoot).

How about the mamiya 645? It travels vertically

Do you still have the file of the 3d printed adapters??

thanks, a rough guide on the lead in length? If I attach some spare film with tape and pull it back into the canister would that work?

What about lubitel 166b?

Fillum 😂😂 Sorry it just gets me every time. Interesting though, I have a Bronica ETRS and 120 back. Prism finder solves the rotation issues.

Is there a 35mm back 4 the SQ system?

A question, then how do you scan these hybrid negatives?
