We tried on a new segment for the show!

Personally chat and I LOVED spilling the tea, but what did you think? You want more episodes?

Just lmk! And dw dw, we got some NASTY ghost hunts coming your way!!! Y'all aren't ready for some of the scares we're prepping here at MUTTCO!

OKAY IM DONE YAPPING ENJOY THE VIDEO HAVE A WICKED EXCELLENT WEEKEND!

I want to go on the record, I am not the Seth that was hired by Novel Horizons, that is a different Seth and I do not claim ownership of the name. Papa hates me for different reasons entirely >:3

4:15 if any boss says that you don't need a union, YOU REALLY NEED A UNION

That hilarious last bit of «I don’t want to collab with them because they’re too funny» is one of the reasons why bricky doesnt wanna collab with badger despite how much he’s been hanging with heavenly, nostro and the bunch.

On several factors (pro-union, pro-talent, someone who has been subjected to that "we're a family" bullshit, someone who is also named Seth) that first story really boils my blood. Thank you for raising further awareness about how fucked up of a company Novel Horizons is and for being an all around joy to watch.

LORD BRICKERT KEEPS WINNING

Bricky deserves ALL the successes he's been getting lately

much like the army stories, we also need more segments of this!

Redflag? That's a nuclear launch detected levels of "don't touch it with a 10 miles pole"

$50,000 for a party. Ok, but how about, you take that 50k, pay it to your employees, and let them decide if they want to spend it on a party, or, you know, rent.

God I miss my Geo Metro. (Don't worry, I'm not that guy). Honestly, the stuff I fit in that car, I wouldn't be surprised if all that stuff could have fit.

Yeah, if a company calls themselves a family, leave. Don't hesitate. Run.

4:39 ... Brother that isn't a red flag that is a nuclear warning sign signaling imminent death...

If people's reaction to someone being "I don't wanna hang out with them, they're more interesting than me", that speaks A LOT more about how they see themselves. Like that should INSPIRE you to do more or be more creative than hate the other person for standing out.

I agree, I love PapaMutts Tea time 😊

Please I would appreciate more of this to listen responsibly during work 🙏

If a company is throwing $50k parties while not paying contractors then the ones responsible belong in prison.

sounds like novel horizons would do numbers on Kick vtubers tho lol. where yes they do exist.

edit: oh

i wish i had been on this episode. i could tell you about how my store had to throw away almost a million dollars worth of food over the course of a year bc their new freezer/cooler system was built by an incompetent construction crew where the supervisor of said crew was more interested in our closing lead. Edit closing lead was married and not interested. This was all about the construction supervisor

Not the 'we're family here so we don't need a union' line. OMG. I heard that at a job I was still in training for once and left almost immediately. Come to find out, similar jobs in the area know of the place I'd left and bash it openly in their own employee training. They ask for everyone who left the bad place to raise their hands and then tell them to take a deep breath because the new job is nothing like that one.

3:43 I am going to be super fucking real for a second, and I am saying this as a member of an INSANELY rock solid Union for city workers where I live, the correct answer is "They CAN be pretty fucking based". Example, my current union is insanely effective, protective and ensures we are so taken care of we never want to leave. Year over year 3% wage increases MINIMUM, INSANE representation durring any conflict with management and the city at large, great benefits that only seem to get better, and regular discounts on real world shit that matters to a grown person, like insurance, physio, and liquor.

The unions for concrete delivery drivers, INSANELY good. Wage securement, raises in excess of inflation year over year, bulletproof benefits and you are basically unfireable. I'm convinced you could kill a non union member on a worksite with your bare hands, and the union would offer to Jimmy Hoffa the manager trying to fire you and the cop who arrested you. The fact they are a teamsters union group has nothing to do with that I am sure.

My wife's "christian" union for grocery workers, mid as fuck. They negotiated AWAY members rights to strike, a 2% raise OVER FIVE YEARS, and while they do protect members from most forms of termination, refuse to assist in removing problem management, and have actively weakened benefits.

Aircanada's union? HORRIBLE, EVIL, FUCKING AWFUL BACK STABING SHIT LORDS. ZERO member protection outside of a union rep present in disciplinary hearings, zero real care for anyone lower than half way up the totem pole, actively DESTROYED starting wages for new hires in order to protect the wages for those closer to the top and secure golden parachutes for the top quarter of seniority over Covid, meaning there are 40 year olds who got getter full send retirement packages and payouts when flights slowed but I had to work with aircraft so fucking valuable that a single wrong button press as ground crew could cause millions in damages or get someone killed, or standing a foot outside of where i'm supposed to be would get me sucked through the turbines of a dream liner, I risked being burried under mountains of luggage dilaily in a space barely big enough for me to kneel bent at a 45 degree angle for hours at a time, and my reward for this was being paid less than the Starbucks barista inside the concourse I worked outside of, with no holiday leave, no vacation time FOR TWO YEARS and no real time to use my flight benefits which were the only real upside of the job.

TlDr, unions are good, but like all aspects of work life, some of them are better than others, and some are basically evil fucks without your wellbeing truly in mind. Speak to fellow union members to know which one you are a part of.

FINALLY SOMEONE SAYS IT! I actually bought a shirt from uwu market earlier this year with a sick design based on a smaller vtuber I follow and not only was their checkout system so convoluted that I had to contact them to make sure I didn’t accidentally double order, not only did it ultimately end up being ridiculously expensive after shipping and other fees, not only did it take forever to ship with little to no updates on where it was until   It was practically on my front doorstep but by the time it did arrive the design felt like a cheap rubber decal and the quality of fabric itself wasn’t what I had hoped for the price. I still have the shirt and still like the design but it really was not worth what I paid, especially now that my suspicions about them taking advantage of creators are practically confirmed. Thank you Papa Mutt for this Vindication and I wish I had heard this tea before giving them my money.
