가마솥에 끓인 "감자탕" 으로 식구들과 저녁 식사..
그리고 한국으로의 역이민을 고심하고 있는 요즘 심경들을 담았어요...

그리고 제가 팔로우하는 호주 퀼터의 예쁜 퀼트 블록..
패턴을 구입하기보다 제가 스스로 패턴을 만들어 봤는데...

We've had a storm and days of rain lately... 🍂⛈️
The temperature suddenly dropped, and I ended up catching a cold with a cough... 😅
With the big temperature changes between day and night, please take good care of yourselves and stay healthy~

Autumn leaves have already begun to cover the ground around our little farmhouse...

In today's vlog, I'm sharing some of our everyday autumn moments, including a family dinner of Gamjatang (Korean pork bone soup) cooked in our outdoor cast-iron cauldron, and some of my thoughts as I consider moving back to Korea someday...

I also fell in love with a beautiful quilt block by an Australian quilter I follow on Instagram.
Instead of purchasing the pattern, I challenged myself to draft my own version... and I did it! 🎉🎊

I'm also thinking about decorating our living room with a new, colorful quilt~

The Lord will lead you to the right decision about the possible move. What a hard one to make. I’m sure your husband is willing to move if that’s the decision? You are so amazing with being able to figure measurements of that quilt block. Wow. I’m amazed at you. Keep sewing whatever you do. God bless and,prayers for you sister in law and her family.

Hi, Julie, that quilt is going to be gorgeous! I love the colors, so cheerful! That food looks so good, I would love to taste it. Yes, it has become summer again, the thermometer inched up to almost 90° here today. We had a couple of cool days and we enjoyed them! We didn’t get very much rain from the storm, it was disappointing. Mostly winds gusting but no trees down, thankfully. We did lose power for almost 2 days, we were lost without tv. Thankfully, it was restored before the big game! Your decision to move or stay is an awful one, I’m glad it’s not me. You will make the right decision for you and your family. Take care and stay safe.😊

Thank you for sharing your food and your quilting talents with us. Your work belongs in Museums for all to see. I understand you wanting to go to Korea. I would think you might want to go there, rent a cottage and see what it is like to sew there as in your dreams..Your ties here are strong, but so are your desires for Korea. Sigo uma brasileira que casou com Coreano, ela comentou sobre o sistema de saúde na Coreia que é muito bom para os idosos, ela mostra nos vídeos como a Coreia se preocupa em dar suporte para os idosos e muitas coisas são gratuitas.
Há escolhas na vida que são mais difíceis e desafiadoras, eu mesma moro no interior , em uma cidade 538 km da capital. Minha filha mais velha mora há 450 km de mim , e a caçula foi para o Japão em maio e se casou lá. Cada uma tem sua vida e meu esposo e eu torcemos por elas.
Por enquanto Deus nos tem dado saúde, estamos vivendo .
Mas se houver algum problema de saude conosco também teremos q tomar decisões difíceis.

요즘은 교통이 발달되어서 하루면 미국이든 유럽이든 다닐 수있는데... 무슨 걱정이세요~ 자식들은 미국에 부모님은 한국에 있으면 휴가기간동안 편히 왔다갔다 할 수있어 좋을 수도 있습니다. 오랫만에 봐야 서로 반갑지요~ㅎㅎㅎ

Wonderful video and so heart felt ❤ You are facing a very hard decision and opportunity to them will fall in place if it is meant to be. However I would say to you , if you’re going to move do it before those grandchildren start coming 😊😅 because your dreams of going home to Korea will probably be just that a dream. I’m just giving you a little teasing because those little grandkids just wrap around your ♥️ what ever your decision is I know you will make it work!

I understand the feelings of missing home, but you would be leaving your children as well as your nieces and nephews, not to mention future grandchildren- just to get a sewing studio that you already have. The scene out the window would be Korea, yes, but you couldn’t look out and see your kids walking up to your door. Or your grandkids playing in the yard. If the only reason to move is for a sewing studio in the country, I’d say that you’ve already got a great studio and business here. If the need for home is overwhelming, then of course you should go. Just be sure to completely consider your feelings for what is here versus what js there. And I know that is complicated and hard so i wish you peaceful contemplations and prayers. Good luck, my friend.

I love your channel, so much. Thank you for making these videos for us. The countryside of Korea sounds just wonderful. I live in the country - in S. CA - and while it is very peaceful and beautiful, we do not have our children, siblings, or any family near us. My husband and I have missed watching our grandchildren grow up. Now they are married and having children of their own. I wonder sometimes if there really isn't a perfect place to be, except where Jesus is. It has always been a struggle. If I move near them I will miss our country home, the forever views, the mountains. So, I have no answer for you, but I do hear what you are saying. Your Korean food looks just wonderful. I have a neighbor who is Korean. Maybe she would teach me?
