Allure should really do an awards per country or region. I’m so tired of people recommending products we don’t get in Australia or Australian Amazon. Just cause Sephora US sells it, doesn’t mean Australian Sephora does. We don’t get Hung Van Go, the new Double wear only just launched a month ago. Only a third of these products are available here. Frustrating that I have to search and spend ridiculous amounts to get recommended products shipped here, only to waste my money. Just for reference, everything drugstore is double the price in Oz. L’Oréal foundations are almost $40 here. Makeup by Mario eye pallet is over $100.

Risa, I completely understand and I know you don't want to be negative 💛 But with the list Allure released, it's hard not to have questions and not to question their processes!

When I saw the Becca Champagne Pop highlighter… I had to check the year on the list 😂 Out of everything on the market and the most recent formula, they chose this one!

Seriously, this year's list has no credibility and look like a joke. The best contour is a bronzer, the best full-coverage concealer isn't full-coverage, the best volume mascara is a lifting mascara…

I HATE the new Estee Lauder Double Wear and I do not have oily skin. I have combo leaning to dry and no matter what I try or what prep I do, it leaves pin point holes in the coverage. It is TERRIBLE!!

I prefer this type of video over other "best of" videos. I want your honest opinion because it is one I know I can trust. I would love to see an updated Amazon finds or more of the hidden gems.

I finally broke down and bought the new Estee Lauder foundation formula when Ulta had it at 50% off, and I like it. I actually like it a lot. It's a little less drying but still lasts all day; so even better than the old formula for my dry, mature skin.

I like your mish mosh of ideas! I must say I totally stopped looking at Allure Awards last year and I had tapered down for a couple of years before that as I felt the products didn’t always justify the award. I watch numerous creators, both makeup and skincare and felt I had a better handle on who was excellent and the reasons why in comparison to Allure. But they used to be my “go to” place for trying new products and my daughter loves the Allure boxes she buys. Me, I watch the fabulous YouTube community and feel that they are more in tune right now. Thanks for this video!
