We used to spend a lot of time in Folkestone few years ago when my father in law had a caravan I’m shocked to see the damage to the sea defences

Awesome Mark plenty of coins, the storm certainly did the damage. 😊

Great job Mark, I honestly think people walk too fast and miss the smaller targets, I find the same thing, also sometimes they only look for silver and ignorant lot of signals. Thanks for sharing.

You need an easterly storm to strip sand I usually find at least 100 plus bottle tops when doing beaches

Well done on the coins, it's been a very good January so far. They are my lines and you are correct about going for jewellery. In winter, unless I get bored, I mostly look for specific spots which I think have a good potential for rings rather than slowing down and trying to winkle out coins. 😷

Hi Mark just found your channel you have given me the inspiration to start again, we have only cheap basic metal detetors bought over 30 years ago.
We decided to join East Devon group and went along to a few meeting then covid struck aswell as some losses in the family.
The coast is only 6 miles away from us. I am subscib8ng to your channel today and yes made it to the end.
Many years ago i met a guy in Cornwall he had a whole jar full of musket balls, do
you ever find them yourself?.
I am going to catch up on your videos Kev East Devon.👍🇬🇧

Wow! I had no idea the storm caused all that damage. I slept right through it. Don’t think there was that much damage along here in Bexhill.

That things on fire , if you can keep churning pond coins up like this it will pay for itself , well done , might try a bit of beach detecting myself but people are skint here in wales .only thing theyd be dropping is lint out there pockets lol . all the best keep diggin , indiana tone in wet cold damp wales ,roll on spring .
