Larry is the Founding Father of the 50/40/90 Club!!!!

Bird and Magic saved the NBA back in the day. 😎

Bird would dominate any era. I truly believe that.

Larry was him, he was that guy.

Larry would fight you right back he wasn't scared of anybody. lol

10:30 he's saying he lucked out, not he was 'locked out'

Yo, Larry WAS a fighter!!!

You misunderstood what they said. Larry won three three-point contests in a row. After he won the first, the video said that he "lucked out again" the second year but it seemed like his luck had run out before he won the third in dramatic fashion.

25:36 that's Xavier McDaniel aka Xman. He was known for being a fierce forward who trash talked.

Bird and Curry are 2 different players. Bird could take it to the hole, rebound like a C, pass like a PG, and shoot like an SG, but was a 6"10" SF. Curry is a volume-shooting PG. Larry was the best all-around player of his era and one of the GOATS

Yo ,Larry was puttin it on Steph's dad..Del..Steph was 0-5 in 3 pt contests..Larry won 3 in a row!!!

You need to watch his ultimate passing re edit video, then you will understand.

I grew up watching Larry Bird. I lived in NY, but I enjoyed watching the Celtics more, lol.

You need to watch “The Truth about Prime Larry Bird”. You’ll see how amazing a shooter he was. With detailed stats.

Yo, Larry won 3 straight  3pt. contests..Curry was 0-5

When Bird entered the league in 1979, the 3 point shot was just being implemented. He wasn't growing up practicing the 3 point shot in high school or college, so he had to train himself in the league, and he wasn't shooting a 100 3s per game like it is today, he was shooting 1.9 3s per game for a career average. The 3 point shootout was first introduced in 1986, and he won 3 consecutive 3 point shootouts (86,87,88) and probably would have won it for a forth year in a row, but he had surgery on both feet that year and was out for the season. The league back then was the most physical era of the league, but today's game you can't touch anyone, and Bird was a master at creating space to shoot, being 6' 10" he could shoot over smaller defenders, and he was an elite shooter who could shoot from anywhere on the court. Since Bird wasn't shooting a lot of 3s per game, he weaponized the 3 point shot, and shot high pressure shots when they truly counted, after demoralizing them by telling them what he was going to do, then do it. For the first 9 seasons, Bird was dominating the league especially in the mid 80's, he's the last player to win 3 consecutive MVPs (84,85,86) and everybody feared him. Steph is great, but he's been practicing the 3 point shot since he was a little kid. Bird was a cold blooded killer. ☘️

Larry Bird practiced relentlessly. Steph Curry has Bird in his top 5.☘️☘️☘️💕💕💕☘️☘️☘️

I grew up in Boston in the 80's... every single Larry Bird story is true.

"There is no way that Larry Bird was like that"
Dude... These stories are being told by so many of the NBA stars THEMSELVES. What part of that makes you not believe?  And... Making 2-3 point throws is one thing, it is mind games too. Bird was psychopathic at (trash) talking. You think the smaller Curry is better at mind games?

He said LUCKED OUT... Luck.
