First of all... thank you! I'm surprised that I specifically got a place, since i mostly asked for all Gunheads out there, not me exclusively, since i'm late to the party and only a recent subscriber, but i really appreciate it, it was a welcome surprise.

Second - yeah, that conversation with Sora is really one of those things that really etched in my memory. Is she trapped in her "limbo", not being able to do anything, or being blessed being one of the rare souls that can... just be herself, seeing the beauty, for undefined moment of time in this nightmare?

Reminds me of the automated bomber in the CGI film "Dead Hand: Fortress"

One of the most repeated themes we see with the broadcast towers is that despite the war raging on everywhere, with bodies continually thrown into the meat grinder of war, people are extremely lonely. Most of those you talk to keep talking to you because they haven't heard a friendly voice in so long. They are so detached from the world that a new voice, one that isn't shouting orders or screaming in rage is a breath of fresh air.

That conversation with Sora was melancholically beautiful.

She’s one of very few people to experience peace in that world, or at least something close to it.

Soaring above the clouds and smog, with no orders, mission or directive, but inevitably doomed when her plane eventually crashes.

I think Ming-Xue is my favorite out of all the radio contacts. She’s so serine in spite of her terrible situation, and those small moments of humanity in a broken world are my favorite moments in TFW

Forever Winter has probably one of the best art design and philosophy around. I don't like extraction shooters so I really enjoy these lore videos.

Those holes are too clean cut, my bet is beam weaponry which hasnt been seen by scavs yet.

I highly suspect that the corpse bomber pilot is never meant to leave their "seat". I liken it to ww2 kamikaze pilots, their cockpit locks from the outside. I love the editing style done for the video btw. I haven't seen all the communications yet between faction in my game, so seeing this and the stories are really refreshing. Keep it up

The wings were damaged by pulse lasers of sorts. They damaged the wings too perfectly though - the planes keep flying with the neat holes anyway.

The fact that the crashed and the "flying" models look completely identical is pretty telling of reused assests, and I wouldn't use the current model to speculate because it will most likely become obsolete the moment a proper one is out.

They clearly master the “survivor bias”

What gets me is most of the transmission contacts grow accustomed to you even though they're supposed to hate you.
