Cain Dingle is a character from a rural soap-opera - when Kerry said "he's the only one in the family with his head screwed on" - she meant the Dingle family in the soap, not in her own family.

The fact Gregg says "it feels like real life" is the a great compliment, considering he didn't grow up in rural England, I did. And this is pretty close to the bone! 😂😊❤

What I love most about the show is the throwaway lines. When Kerry is talking about the vicar hitting Kurtan, his little "yeah" and "it was" for some reason gets the biggest laugh out of me. The other thing is sometimes you still hear lines you haven't heard before. In an earlier episode when Kerry says "...that is just the way of the law", I didn't hear that line until I watched it a few times. Again, I've watched it through numerous times but only this time did I realise that when they leave the hospital Kerry is walking normally. LOVE this show!

Love that you both love this show. It’s so understated and probably not for everyone… but l think it’s fabulously funny! x

The jersey Kerry normally wears each episode is the Swindon Town football club jersey

Cain Dingle is from Emmerdale!!! I like him too.

Lonsdale (with the one lion) is a boxing clothing brand. Similar to Everlast in the US.

Cain Dingle got me off guard 😂😂

She either wears the England national team jersey or Swindon towns jersey

Three Lions is an old English heraldic thing, it appears on the England football team shirt.

David Baddiel's 'number one' he refers to a lot in Taskmaster was called Three Lions and is the song Kertan is referencing.

@DarthAzabrush 6 days ago

There is an irony in that the Royal Standard of the KING of Wales has 4 lions on it.

You guys should watch Kurtan's chicken shop date

20:26 nice Taskmaster crossover there... that's the song David Baddiel co-wrote that got to number 1 four times (and yes, the England kit has three lions)

I am the opposite of Kerry, I have a high pain threshold.

@paulh9 7 days ago

Are you aware that Kerry and Kurtain are real life brother and sister and that their dad plays Kerry’s dad in the show? Love your reactions keep up the good work 👍

I'm with Greg on the injury thing, I've bever faked it but I have always wanted one, although the times when I HAVE been, I didn't get treated and once when I hurt my shoulder and could/should have a sling I was too embarrassed so... I donno.

The insurance problem is a very recent thing. Once British society was basically run by well meaning volunteers like this vicar and to the credit of the Cameron Regime (something I will rarely say) there was a solid move to try and reinstitute this with the Big Society idea. However there was a fundamental flaw in the sad necessity for liability insurance as 'Murican litigation culture has infected our civilisation as part of the ongoing efforts by the US and domestic traitors to make us nothing more than another pirate state. I don't have a problem with Murican litigiousness IN ITS PROPER PLACE ('Murica) because when a simple slip on a pavement can cause an individual to be presented with a medical bill big enough to bankrupt Wales you need some way of holding those responsible for injuries liable for the cost of their screw ups. The problem with importing it to a civilised country is HERE HEALTHCARE is (mostly) FREE AT POINT OF DELIVERY. There is no justification for suing anyone for personal injury any more. The very concept should be as extinct as the Victorian diseases that once plagued our cities. Oh wait... they're back now because of the 'Muricanisation and the Privatisation that comes with it.

Hmmm, to answer your question..., it's a No from me. You might be interested, if it hasn't already been mentioned, but Daisy May Cooper appears in Taskmaster Series 10.
