Nice video guys. I’ve been up and down Sani Pass and Black Mountain Pass many times in all seasons. Always best on a dry sunny day.  I remember the days of Mokhotlong Mountain Transport back in the 70s when the tar road ended at the Pholela Bridge just outside Himeville.  My father founded the Drakensberg Motor Club and raced the Roof of Africa Rally 8 years in a row 1967-1975 in his off-road specials.

Can you tell me what all is required at the 2 border posts at the time you were there? Passports? Vehicle papers? ZA sticker?

Thank you for the brilliant video. However, I did not get the name of the rest camp you stayed in before going to Sani pass.

Great videos, so excited to see an awesome rig being a Ranger for a change.  On this subject, please tell us about your rig.  I've recently acquired a 3.2 auto 4x4 and hoping to scale sani pass, are these trucks reliable for overlanding, so many mixed comments out there, would love to hear from someone who actually does it.  :)
