Legitimately my only issue with the game was that the story could’ve used more time to cook (give Harry/Venom more story, and give Miles and Harry a better relationship being the biggest issues) and slightly better writing during all symbiote suit/ Venom sections

finally glad to see people talk about insomniac in a good way. the forced hate on twitter is annoying

That ending montage is peak.
The music. The lines. The visuals.
Well done Alex!!

The outro of this video is a masterpiece, I really enjoyed Spider-Man 2 and I think Venom is a great villain when he possesses both Peter and Harry, corrupting their minds, and being a lot more violent.

Insomniac actually already spoke about the reason the ending feels so rushed. They said it was because they did not have enough time to finalize the 3rd act they initially wanted to have, so probably if the game were delayed it could have been even better.

It felt as though the story took its time in the beginning of the game, but as the story progressed, it became much for fast-paced.

Despite how rushed the Venom arc seemed, the Kraven's Hunt arc more than made up for it, giving some of the best moments in the series.

Whatever your toughts on the second game. I think we can all agree that it has, by far THE BEST versions of Kraven and Harry.

I think the game was perfect until venom killed Kraven. That part of the game has been proven to be rushed with all of the leaks of a bigger boss fight and almost 3x longer final act.

Glad to see a review that isn’t totally shitting on Spider-Man 2, but instead acknowledging its flaws while also acknowledging that the game is overall fantastic. We all know the game has undeniable problems, but I love it despite its flaws.

This is a very well made video, especially how you ran it back to aunt may telling Pete about "balance" and showing all the loving momments everyone has with each and finishing it off with a Cherry on Top editing 👌

0:31 that’s actually my local Dominos

3:10 Leon S Kennedy would like a word.

that ending had me feeling like i just watched the gameplay trailer for the first time

This game is my personal favourite game of the year. And yet, it isn’t perfect. It could have done with maybe three or four more hours of story, flesh out the black suit story and make Venom a deeper villain.

R.I.P A-/-B(The Lord) he was a brave soul for trying to run Spider-Man 2 on his PS4. Unfortunately, it exploded when he deployed the web wings. He will be missed 🪦

Excellent video! I honestly think I feel the same way as you, even though Spider-Man 2 has its problems, it's still one of the best Spider-Man games, the love that insomniac feels for the character is really incredible and beautiful to look at and the game really is made by fan for fan, I'm very excited for the sequel!

You know its a good day when Alex Webb uploads

I loved insomniac Spider-Man it’s really awesome and as a huge fan of Spider-Man and his supporting cast this game has given me everything I ever wanted which I approve at least in my opinion.
