Bold of you to assume that the new edition has play testers....

I'm not drunk but your voice is indeed soothing.

14:24 if only the Mechanicum hadn't lost the STC for Brillo Pads, the scouring would have much easier.

Don’t care about rules. I’ve got a HUGE, fully painted Dark Angels host I had a belter of a time collecting, assembling and painting. And nothing, but nothing, looks as glorious as a fully painted epic army.

All I wanted was Adeptus Titanicus to be expanded with Xenos Factions.

1. Armigers still got no plastic release, currently you had to pay 60USD for 3 resin armigers ( 2 warglaives + 1 helverin), each armiger is the size of your fingernail. And you''ll want a bunch of them in your Knight list. This is the number 1 most infuriating things that GW refused to do for years!
2. They got Custodes left as release, then after that either went for legion specific or chaos/loyalist specific unit, character (primarch, assassin,...)

The failure of Aeronautica Imperialis (to GW/FW's fault for making it so bad) had fumbled the chance for a full epic revival, so we only got a partial revival in the setting of HH. Jervis Johnson was the biggest advocate for Epic but he had left GW so who know what happen. I reckon we will see Epic and the return of those xenos aircrafts....in 10 years.

I wish so badly that they hadn't made it Horus Heresy, I just want a silver tide

My favourite Saturday morning viewing. Makes me feel like I'm 14 again and about to play 1st ed Necromunda at my friends house and my life isn't irrevocably ruined just yet.

Step 1: Epic Armageddon.

Thats it.

I'm a big fan of Legions. I've been playing it since it came out, and still enjoy the scale immensely. Even if you hate the rules and would rather play NetEA, the LI models are just nicer to use in EA and the older epic models.
I'd love to see more content for the game. More battle reports on YouTube would be a great start.

I'd never go back to 28mm scale. I don't have the time, room, or money. But the LI models are actually a joy to paint, and I adore how they look on the table.

I’m mostly annoyed that they decided that Dark Mechanicum would get a bunch of unique units, but only in 8mm.

Thanks for the brutal honesty. I have been down expensive, GW, multi rule book rabbit holes before.

Not again.

Legions Imperialis and Horus Heresy need apps, like yesterday. The biggest hurdle for new players isn't the rules, it's the list building and constantly flipping around pages for the datasheets.

0:11 Diddy do it? He did it.

There was an old version of Epic 40K (called Space Marine) that started each turn placing a face down order markers next to each unit. The order decided both what you could do and in which order. It was a great system adding real strategy and risk to games.

Currently playing my first game of Legions Imperialis with a few friends. 6k vs 6k, we've made many mistakes, but it's fun. We are getting about 1 turn done each month, we started in February and we are about to commence turn 4 in May! xD

It ain’t dead in our group! We’ve spent thousands on this game. And we are loving it. You can’t play the game competitively but we just don’t play it that way. It’s the only ‘active’ GW game I still play now. When it’s canned, we won’t care, because we already have everything and anyways, one of us owns a 3d printer.

1:44 oh just like 2nd edition. Glory days, glory days…

In other words Jervis should caught in a net and dragged back to write 2nd ed

Another headache soothed, many thanks
