I worked at Ford for about 20 years, and the scenes with the Ford executives felt quite real.  They captured the Ford corporate mentality pretty well, and echoes of that mindset persist even today.

The movie had so much testosterone in it my sister grew a mustache

I just love that they had the guts to show an actual healthy family relationship. Ken is hot-headed but is also shown to deeply love and care about his wife and son. I'm just so glad that they showed that fathers can be good people and not some deadbeat drunken idiot.

I don't know why, but the part when someone says: "James Bond doesn't drive a Ford" and Henry Ford II replies: "That's beacuse he is a degenerate" made burst out in laughter

Coming from Emilia Romagna, I appreciated that even in the US version, Enzo Ferrari and his entourage spoke in the dialect from Modena. It was a detail that only a few people in the world would notice, but it was there. That's attention to details and respect for the story in my opinion. Kudos to Ford V Ferrari!

FvF is the kind of film that re-instills hope for quality storytelling in every category.

When Henry Ford started crying in that car, i did too. That scene was so deep. I miss stuff like that.

Best line in the movie: That's because he's a degenerate.
Best scene: Shelby taking Ford for a ride.
Best moment: Miles slowing down...also kinda having mercy on the car working so hard.

Testosterone?
Badass MALE characters?
Cars being cool again?
No women or forced diversity?
Christian Bale?
2019 wasn't so bad.

I think the downer ending is incredibly important actually. He explains earlier to his son why he’s willing to risk his life racing and eventually he’s does in fact have to pay that price. It leaves you with the question. How far is too far? Was the success worth his son growing up without him?

This was such a great, straight-forward, and wholesome movie in a year cluttered with messes; easily one of my favorites.

My local theatre only screened it for a week, the twats. I only had time to see it twice.

Nice to see a film that’s fueled with testosterone in 2019

"I had no idea....I had no idea....I wish my daddy was here to see this."

I teared up at that part. This really was an incredibly well-executed film that kept my attention the whole way through.

" ... building unearthly stuff that has no reason to exist..." that hit me real good

How dare they re-enact actual history without recasting the main stars with whamen and a full diversity cast!

The fact that SJW's and feminists decried this movie was reason enough for me to want to watch it. The fact that Drinker has given it his seal of approval means I MUST watch this movie.

SJWs: REEEEEEEEE!! There’s no female representation!!

Common sense: You do realize this is based off real life HISTORY right?

Just saw it today and I agree, the lack of political agenda was so great.

The scene where Shelby gives Ford a ride was a huge surprise to me. The trailer portrayed it as a cheap gag, but it became such a moving moment for Ford and his relationship with his late father. Absolutely brilliantly executed.
