India is a democracy only as long as it is a Hindu nation in character.

Idk about Hindutva's compatibility with Democracy but based on evidence World Wide - it's Communism that's not compatible with Democracy.

The likes of her portrayed Tippu Sulthan for example as India's first freedom fighter. He was a terror for Kodavas, Mangalorean Christians and North Kerala Hindus until he was defeated by Travancore with the aid of the British. His army butchered thousands of them very brutally. Mangalorean Churches were destroyed and they were sent on death march. Tippu believed in astrology and he restored Hindu temples in his kingdom so that he can rule a Hindu majority kingdom. His father was a mercenary who was given refuge by the Hindu king. Portuguese did atrocities upon Hindus in Goa. BJP is silent on that, while Christians voted for BJP to come to power there. Prof. Romila Thapar didn't anticipate that there will be age of real scholarship based on true evidence will come in India and those scholars get to speak on Youtube and other platforms.

If you would target Islamists the same way you target Hindutva(ist), there would never be the rise of Hindutva(ist).
Similarly, if muslims would be secular in their dealings in public life, Hindus would feel even more comfortable being secular.
You cannot claim refuge in a secular society by being religious in your public dealings.
Look what's happening in Europe, every single Western European power has an Anti Muslim party in the rise.

Add gita 3:35 , 2:31 what he means by swadharm to this with 4:13 and 18:47

A poet once write about the “glory that was Greece, the grandeur that was Rome…” India has continued, in majesty, and it appears to me that the presence of Hinduism or Dhamma, is an integral part of that majesty, warts and all.
