2015 LADA Vesta, 21129 engine (1.6L).
Taxi car, one owner. 193,000 km.
Since purchase, the engine has been consuming oil, the timing belt has broken, and the valves have been bent.
The owner bought a new Vesta (with factory seamless pistons), and is giving this one to his son, asking him to rebuild the engine.
We disassemble the engine and evaluate the changes in the new VAZ.

We compare the repair cost with that of Korean "non-Vestas."

Important note! The 129 engine differs from the 127 engine only in the firmware; physically, they are the same engine.
