Ah Jane that was incredible! What a place that is, I’m literally blown away by it. I think that’s the first time I’ve ever seen a fossil, inside a building. Every time I see Tudor and Victorian places, the decor sets something off inside of me like I actually know that time frame, like I’ve been there. The colours in the garden, the bund….WOW!

Wow. I can’t get over the intricate detailing of the carving of the manor furniture. Just brilliant. And that courtyard was heavenly.

Glad to see your day started off on a lovely sunny one but that’s the countryside for you, near the sea. Mother Nature keeps you on your toes. LOL.

Oh yes please, do continue with these kinds of visits. It REALLY helps the “friends of” and “foundation of” keep the lights on by sharing their existence with us. 🙏❤️.

A couple of years ago a visited and filmed when I got home the SD card was completely blank, very odd. However it did mean I had to go back the day after and do it all again

Excellent. have you been to Townley Hall in Burnley yet? That's worth a wander. Of the same period and surrounded by a park, sometime they have concerts and even balloons take off from there.
