Having played over 3 thousand hours of Team Fortress 2 (TF2), I, an American-born Chinese, met a Japanese player saying, "bad things to remind people about rape to women in the past", so I started to think about the Japanese Sino-War 2, the comfort women, my grandfather as a former China nationalist captain fighting the Imperial Japanese Army and communists, and the Korean player saying about the atomic bomb for self-defense. That Japanese player was one of our friends who completed TF2's Mann vs. Machine by completing the tours to make Steam's wall funds, which can be used to buy different computer games, and this can lead to being a professional gamer viewed by triple-A game studio developers and workers. What makes a friend is making a living in the game, and what maintains peace is talking about school, not getting backstabbed. However, all programmers will say that those funds are students' earnings for their degrees.
I'm half korean half chinese and I was born in Korea. I had to give up my korean citizenship to move to China where my dad was from at age six, and so I felt similar struggles to you. At that time I realised I was not well versed in Chinese characters especially in the elementary school. Since my early development was in korea, sometimes I got tones and characters wrong and kids at school laughed at me a lot. I understand what you went through, I think we only get stronger right? Luckily, I got a scholarship to a school in Switzerland in ninth grade, so I don't have to take the gaokao, it's an international school and will benefit me learning English. Well made video, 너무 좋다!!
