That place is an introvert nightmare

Gotta admire the staff. They are enthusiastically encouraging engagement practically into an empty void, amazing that they can keep their energy up multiple times an hour! Respect!

When the lady came out and hollered, "Are you ready?" I would have hollered "Yes!" before promptly leaving.

Melanzane, you got to salt the aubergine, rinse it to get rid of the bitterness, and then cook it the way the Greeks do with moussaka - oven bake (not fry in 15 litres of oil). It should (and can) be a thing of beauty!
