Dale mentioned Dave Roe and how he had the best stories. Dave shared some of those stories about playing with Dwight Yoakam, Johnny Cash, Jerry Reed and others in this interview I did with him before he passed away. Great stuff and you should watch it.

Here's a great interview I did with Roger Miller's brother, Wendell.

Be sure to check out Dale when he comes through your town and tell him Otis sent ya!

Dale Watson may never have made the "Big Time" but he is as talented and genuine as any of the greatest country stars. And one of the best live performers I've seen. Dale Watson rules! ✌❤

"Vibes are real man; vibes are real," that's a kick a$$ comment. Thank you for the stories.

Dale Watson is a true triple threat. World class singer, great songwriter and a damn good guitar player too. If life was fair he would have dozens of gold and platinum records hanging on his walls.

Roger Miller paid the plane fare for a Pop Warner football team from Texas who played in The Mother Goose Bowl in San Diego. We hosted two kids who played against my brother's team. I didn't know this until years later. Roger Miller was class act.

Dale is a gent and a genuine artist . I spent a month on a tour bus with him in 2000 during the Australian leg of his ' People and Places ' tour with Billy Dee Donahue on bass and Scotty Mathews on drums . I played in the support and did his FOH house sound every night . Watched him write and test songs , watched him communicate with an audience every night . A privilege to watch an artist at work . Top Bloke as the Aussies say ! Cheers , Huddy .

❤ I got a march out here with my very own Johnny Cash story: saw him the Carter family and many others in Seattle and we got to go backstage and meet Johnny. I was a little girl and he hugged my sister and I and said we reminded him of his little girls back home❤️ never forgot that, never will , never should.

Dale is awesome. Have him on more often please. Kenny Vaughan too.

Oh my God I didn't see that coming at all,, I never would have dreamed that Johnny and June would have perceived that as Roger sending them love from the heavens,, that tore me up !!

Dale Watson truly one my favorite artists, I saw him and his band several times in Bristol, VA at the Return and Roots Festival. Hope he comes back soon! Great story teller also, thanks.

I really dig Dale's interviews! As a side note, since the day I heard Dale's "Smokey Old Bar" tune,EVERYTIME I pick up a guitar anywhere like a music store or someplace where I am unfamiliar with that particular guitar,I play that song..the most honky tonk sounding song I have ever heard.❤
