Your videos are the most valuable when it comes to fishing with paste.
Greetings from the Netherlands

Brilliant tip explaining the reason of sliding olivette

Cracking Joe, Iove the way you explain the 'how', but equally important the 'Why'. It gets the head in tune with what we are trying to achieve.  Thanks Joe

I know it's old footage, Joe, but I learn so much from such videos. I'm really grateful, mate. I'm watching your career closely and really want you to succeed in all you do. I hope the new move is working for you. 🤩

Hi Joe been watching all your paste fishing tips and they really work caught some great fish well done thankyou.

Hi Joe, I've used your technique for paste fishing,
Leaving a 10mm tail on the hook length to help the paste grip better, but just recently I've adapted the tail end by leaving a 20mm tail then trapping the tail between my finger and the blade of my scissors then pull the line through and it curls into a spiral, I then trim it to the length required and I've found it holds the paste better

Thanks Joe for another in depth vid. It’s exactly what us non pro anglers need as there is so much conflicting and confusing info out there. I’d love to get out there and try all these different methods and ways, but I only get to go out once a fortnight due to having a young family so want to be able to rock up and have faith in my rigs. Your previous video gave me confidence to fish paste in the margin for the first time and it was in a match. The Fish rocked up in last hour and got me a 3rd (just wish I had another hour) but I never would have fished paste in margin if it wasn’t for videos like this 👌👍

I have always fished paste floats with no shot down the line. My theory being, if the paste comes off,  the float lays flat on the top of the water. I always fish with a longer line at least 18 inches/2 feet from pole tip to float tip. Your tip Joe, about fishing 2 inches on the bottom, and the float tip not sitting straight upright, but slanted to the water, is a brilliant and logic idea, that I can clearly see the advantages of. I will certainly try this next time out. Even in deep water 6-7 feet I do not use shot. But if there is a wind or tow, I put a back shot on, (1 or even two No  8 stotz) around 8 inches from the float tip, which I find works for me. Lots of useful tips on this video, and certainly food for thought. I spent 100s of hours perfecting paste fishing, over a long period, and have had some fabulous catches over the past few years, but I'm always learning and striving for perfection.

Joe thank you for this and previous videos on paste fishing. I have learnt so much and enjoying my fishing once again.

The knot is called the Knotless Knot. Originally used a lot by Carp Anglers. Great tutorial Joe.  I Iike the though behind each of the floats.  Like you I am mostly interested in the ,2 and the point 3 as most waters I fish are no more than 5 ft deep. I am ordering these floats so I can put your ideas into practice asap. Great video as per usual. Cheers

thx

Awesome again Joe I used your paste rigs today and had a really good day they are great thank you again bud.

Great video Joe thanks for sharing 👍

Mind blowing information, Joe, I'm not a big paste fisherman, but tried it the other day, trying to remember upon what I've seen in your other brilliant video's, but this one explains all and where I went wrong.
