About 15 years ago, my local water had 300 F1s stocked,, and for a couple of years, you couldn't catch one as they hid away in a reed bed, but the next year they were 2-3ilb. A year later some were pushing 4lb, I had a wicked session one day, a small feeder with ground expander and some maggots, and a maggot on the hook and they were hitting it straight away. I had 29 of them in 105 minutes and then the large carp moved in, and I had 4 of them the largest 22lb on 6lb line and a 4lb hooklength, this wasn't a commercial, it was an old clay quarry that my local club leased.. The same year, they were netted overnight by eastern Europeans, who killed anything that wasn't a carp and left them on the bank, they destroyed the water.
Nice little video Mikey. Lovely method.Tried it last year after watching Joe Carras catching. Never got on with it then but watching you has made me want to try again. I think the way you fished it with a rig with shots on is the way forward. Thanks.
i've always used large balls of paste bigger than a thumb nail . Mikey i will be trying the pea sized pieces this saturday if all goes to plan cheers buddy
Why do you always fish at a place where you are guaranteed to catch something you show us how this bait and that bait is taking the place apart and whatever so if its actually as good as you do say then go to a pond that we usually have to fish like a local pond thats free to fish or something a real pond then we will see just how good these wonder baits are because you all do it you go to place you know you will catch because it makes a good video but I want to see the real places because I tried everything you have shown muscles and all that other stuff and I got nothing all day 😂😂
