Hope you enjoyed this. I’m on tour now https://marksimmons.co.uk/live-dates/

Mark has a really unique low energy style and it works well because the crowd warm to the understated jokes where even if it misses it hits. He doesn't leave his audience behind, he picks them up and carries them with him throughout the set. A master of his art, impossible not to love him.

I showed this in an old people's home. They all pissed themselves.

Awesome comedian awesome fella. Mark played in Nelson NZ and I was able to give him a birthday card to deliver to my mother in England. I had a broken foot at the time so couldn't fly long haul but with front row tickets in Nelson, what's your hobby was my chance to say 'asking comedians for favours'. I outlined the situation and told him I had bought tickets to the Silsden show in England for my mothers 80th birthday a couple of weeks later, 8th June. With encouragement from the audience Mark agreed to carry the card back to England and deliver it to my 80 year old mother. He kept his word and made my mum incredibly happy with a card from her new favourite son, one of five. Fantastic live show in Nelson and my 80 year old mum loved it too in England. Not many comics with Mark's personality, charm and generally good clean jokes on the circuit reaching all ages and countries. All that and a great man too. Thanks Mark. Oh yea, Quip Off The Mark is pretty awesome too!!

It’s so refreshing to watch someone with talent and totally in control of their craft with no ego, whose material lands so well because they’re gentle with their audience and not abrasive. To build rapport through empathy rather than wind-up is such a vulnerable approach and requires so much more of a light touch. It’s like smiling gently and waiting for us to catch up and then congratulating us for getting the joke. It’s so warm and encouraging. It’s in the tradition of British comedy that is finely crafted to look un-rehearsed. I much prefer this kind of playing with expectations over the suited and polished performance. I’m neurodivergent and quirky so it makes me feel at home I suppose. I massively enjoy all the long winded, timing related jokes. I love the discomfort generated. The punchline comes as such a release.

Came here after seeing a short on Reddit.. was not disappointed!

Every punchline hit the MARK. 😂

Smart, intelligent, a bit 'kooky, no ego and no drama. Perfect. Well done mate.

Man that hobbies bit with the audience was like watching a magic trick, couldn’t believe how quick you were (great to see everyone call out your previous punchline too).  Best special I’ve watched in years!

I love his sense of relief after every joke.😅

Best bit of British stand up I've seen in ages 10/10
Look forward to seeing more

Never heard of him.... BLOODY BRILLIANT !!!! Absolute genius - 👏👏👏

Such a brilliant set. And props for the constant 'struggling to bend down' throughout the gig, all for a great callback line at the very end 👏

Your delivery is perfect and you always leave me wanting more. Maybe you should open a Chinese takeaway?

Thanks for uploading this gig Mark!

Stumbled across this whilst doing some overtime today and great to have this on in the background - making the day pass quicker and with a laugh…

Absolutely brilliant show. 👌 😂🤣😂

Had the please of seeing this live a couple of years ago, and also recently caught Mark and Danny on their latest tour.

Thanks Mark. I really enjoyed that. I will pay next time. I might even come to one of your gigs.

Honestly don’t think I’ve ever watched such a well thought out, funny and clever set. Absolutely hilarious from start to finish and how good it flowed was just incredible

Love this guy. Best comedian around

That was brilliant. These days it's almost impossible to make me laugh, but this guy has me in stitches.
