For those of you unsure. I have one question for you. Do you still enjoy playing genshin? If so you should keep playing after all the purpose of a game is to have fun. If not don't play genshin. Games are supposed to be fun and if its not don't play it.

Edit: thanks for the likes I honestly forgot i make this comment lmao. Also I appreciate all your thoughts

About the skip button, alot of people dont know this because its from a pretty old interview but hoyo did confirm that they will never add a skip button to genshin.

Ive helped a lot of players friends and strangers explore dragonspine. Despite hating it when I explored solo, I now deeply cherish a lot of the memories I made there

Hey Bran thank you for your insight on this video. I was just making this video to notify my old subscribers who watched me for my Genshin content (to let them know I won't be making content on this game anymore) and I did not expect the video to end up here. I want to apologize about the 3 intertwined fate part. I got the info mixed up because I was just relying on my memory and did not make a proper research on this matter.  Sorry everyone...

i quit genshin ages ago, but still watch youtubers lmaao

1:17 Dragonspine was absolutely peak. The fjrst Albedo event is still one of my favourites to this day, idc what anyone says

11:00 skip buttons can be so important for people who want to skip upsetting content too; like if you just lost a sibling and you don't want to trudge through a side quest about siblings yelling at each other or something

My friends and I also played Genshin a lot. Everyone chose their own character class and invested solely in them. We just wandered around, creating content for the game. It was fun until the game started brutally milking us for cash, and events and seasonal rewards started to feel like spit in the player's face from the developers. Thoughts like, "They're making tons of money off people and they don't give a damn about them," started popping into our heads more and more often. The game can be amazing, but when the developers are too greedy and don't care about the community, you lose the enthusiasm and commitment to supporting such games, which is exactly what happened to us. It's a shame, because in my opinion, they really wouldn't have gotten poorer by showing players a little gratitude and respect through various events and seasonal rewards. To the community members who shout the loudest, "If you can't afford it, don't play, poor thing," and to the greedy game development, I just have a middle finger extended with a smile. Because 80% of these scumbags don't know the value of money because they don't know what it means to work for it. The remaining 20% are just assholes and snowflakes living off other people's money. Greetings to true gaming fans and people seeking relaxation and rest. Personally, I recommend avoiding titles with a similar development model to Genshin Impact at this time :).

i'm a day 1 genshin player still to this day. yeah my friends i met along the way quit the game already.... still an enjoyable game for me though.

As a graduating student, and as someone who will prepare for an upcoming licensure exam, playing genshin actually doesn't take too much time if you' have already built enough characters to get all primos for the endgame. And I'm interested in the lore now more than ever, tho i still acknowledge the game's flaws with regards to story presentation (we don't talk abt frame shaking cutscene💀). I also won't blame other people who will quit the game with how the devs are treating us in so many aspects primarily on QOL stuff. It really feels like they are ragebaiting us and testing the water on how much sht can they do before they lost a significant amount of revenue.

I genuinely think I enjoy the game more than a lot of players atm because I exclusively play for exploration and some story and lore content. I started the game back in 1.1 as a f2p so I just kind of don’t pull for characters unless I really want them and by that point I have enough primos saved up that I don’t even have to think about how much rewards or wtv are worth. My only real gripe is that exploration is getting too easy but at least it’s still fun to do in coop. (Obs expecting a player in a gacha game to not take the gacha seriously would be a bit dumb so I fully understand why this isn’t the case for a lot of others)

4:21 when you’re paying for it it’s not even a reward, because you’re FUCKING paying for it…

17:30 the sad thing is, its not the age that influences what they say. Even if they grow up, they'd still be like that

I start to believe the "dev" term is becoming a problem now. Today it seems like there are people who actually think the dev team has any word on what to implement into the game. People should start calling out the management and not the devs, they are just doing their jobs.

I was playing when the resin cap was 120, and yeah I can totally agree that it wasn't nearly enough for doing anything..

4:57 Devs are more celetia than celestia itself.

Me, not quitting ultil I beat Surtologi's ass so yeah I'm here for a life time and will pass the mission on to my children and grandchildren if needed be.

For context he is like beyond a god level being traveling through space and concquering them.

I want a skip button for the one billion side quests i have that i will never do without one.
