"I like waffles" "So you hate pancakes?" ahh drama

At this point both the chill players of wuwa and genshin just watching kids fight each other as we bet on who wins the fight

Great day for the unemployed

Do you hate the game because you genuinely want the game to improve or do you hate the game because you want YOUR game to be superior ? The first is good, the latter is bad.

Edit: Can’t respond to them all. I have a job to do——
Edit: So it turned out, Glaive hated Genshin for the sake of hating basically. His video about Genshin 6.2 was wild, and his apology was even wilder.

It's like if Dorro posted a vid criticising on Wuwa's poor optimisation for devices without mentioning Genshin and Tectone starts shitting on him for being a Hoyo Shill💀

Massive day to the unemployed gacha players

ah yes unemployed war, my favorite. My dinner need something to listen to

I think currently the biggest problem of wuwa right now is that lot of cc spreading hate instead of enjoy their own game.

I'm not gonna lie, Glaive is too emotionally driven. This whole thing could have been an email. I feel like I'm watching toddlers fight about who has the cooler toy.

has glaive ever maybe sat back and thought: maybe the reason genshin is still so popular is because people ACTUALLY like the game and  not because of some pseudo rhetoric like "sunk cost fallacy"? Its  a comfort game that a lot of people would prefer playing after a long day of  work or school. His bitterness clouds his judgement.

Do people understand how different Genshin and Wuwa is? the analogy is like Elden Ring vs ToTK, THAT'S how different these games are, same genre still but those who've tried it knows that it's a VERY different game. I couldn't get into Elden Ring no matter how much people say it's a masterpiece GoTY, it's simply not my type of game, but the moment I tried ToTK I immediately spent 150 hours on it. These unemployed people don't understand gaming at all.

Im tired of this shit.

I don't mind if we accept wuwa is better than genshin, what grinds my gears is how wuwa CCs always find a way to make genshin look bad, and now the strategy is to not mention wuwa so whenever you call them out, they will say "i didn't even mention wuwa"

Like duh. It's inherently implied. This is stupid.

I played wuwa at launch. I've have returned and left wuwa for like 3 times now. So really wanted to like it. Unfortunately, i didn't.

I don't think it's tribalism if i defend genshin at this point. Wuwa CCs will always, and i mean ALWAYS find a way to make a genshin related video because it brings them views, engagement, and money.

I keep seeing wuwa cc in my algorithm with "genshin" in titles of the video. If it's not comparing wuwa with genshin, it's simply shitting on genshin. And now they try to avoid the mention of wuwa so they have the plausible deniability.

Look. For the sake of the argument, let's say wuwa is the best. Let's say it's the Red Dead Redemption 2 of gacha.. are all games that got released 4 years before RDR2 that do not meet its standard bad games? I don't think so. Genshin not being able to keep up with wuwa doesn't make it a bad game and im sick of wuwa CCs trying to make it sound that the game is trash. I find it frustrating that they think people who genuinely love genshin are brainwashed or manipulated by the devs.

And I'm tired of the narrative that "wuwa cares about it's playerbase" no damn shit. It's a business and it's trying to build goodwill. The very reason they had a bad anniversary reward is because they were testing the waters.

I don't keep up with gacha content creators because I have a life but based on my recommended feed Glaive taks more about "Genshin Bad" than I used to talk trash about an ex I had 😭 him and that one dude who spread the conspiracy theory of Hoyoverse sabotaging WuWa VAs back during it's launch are obsessed with demonizing Hoyoverse games while seeing the Kuro CEO as the Lisan Al Gaibb 🥀

he is not criticizing anything with "genshin sells disappointment" title lets be fr.

A wise old owl lived in an oak,
The more he saw, the less he spoke
The less he spoke, the more he heard,
Now, wasn't he a wise old bird?

CC's need to understand they dont need to respond to everything. Like man sometimes you can just shrug emoji and move on and realize shit just doesnt effect you like that.

I think glaive got hit on a sensitive point and massively misinterpreted something resulting in this weird ass crash out ngl

Even if Glaive makes an "objective" analysis of anything, he will never erase the fact that he has been tainted with making content that is based on comparison, and pushing an agenda that pushes a game to be better than any other.

If any at all is at fault here, it's the nature of being a drama/ragebait farmer.
You will never be a "neutral" "Objective" Standpoint because you never even began to change your ways or at least address that you intend to change it.

Drama will always follow a drama farmer. That is a rule that will always exist on the internet.

I think I can see the exact thought process that started this..

Zajeff sees the first tweet and who it's referencing and reads it as the initial poster saying "oh here we go again with this Genshin vs Wuwa CC ( I wouldn't be surprised if Zajeff didn't even watch the video)

Then Zajeff responds with basically "Hey, person writing this, I too would usually get annoyed with the typical genshin bad wuwa good, but I've learned to enjoy being a hater"

Then Glaive sees that, and as Bran said, assumed all his work and research got boiled down to "Genshin Hater" and took it way past what it was.

Unfortunately, I think Glaive got way into his feelings about just a throw away joke, and let his anger dictate the video. I mean just seeing his reactions to the tweets makes me believe that. "Look at the different ways he tries to deflect!" .... Each tweet said the same exact thing, "I was just joking about being a hater being fun, and people are taking it too seriously"

I may be wrong, but that's how I see it as someone who doesn't really watch either person

Idk zajef could’ve phrased his first tweet better but glaive out here acting like zajef insulted his entire bloodline

You can really tell being called a wuwa glazer really gets to him
