The ONLY Time Qui-Gon's Force Ghost Spoke With Darth Vader
Order 77

Qui-Gon Jinn's Force Ghost reached Darth Vader exactly once in over twenty years. Not when Anakin fell, not on Mustafar, not during the Empire's rise. The moment came decades later, at the only point when Vader's armor had cracked enough to let anything through. And then Qui-Gon withdrew—and never returned. Not during the throne room confrontation, not when Vader lifted the Emperor, not even on Endor when three Force Ghosts appeared and he was conspicuously absent.
This documentary traces the full chain of events, from Qui-Gon's death on Naboo to Vader's choice on the second Death Star, to answer a question the saga never directly addresses: why that single contact was the only one that could have worked—and why it had to happen exactly once.

In the end Vader defeats Maul standing behind him by stabbing his own lightsaber through his own body, impaling Maul in the process too. Maul with his last breath asks Vader:
"How was this possible... where did you gather all this hatred from? What could you possibly hate more than me?"
Vader simply answers with one word:
"Myself."
Snd then proceeds to head home and treats it as if nothing happened in front of Sidious.
I think - even though it is non-canon - this comic really captured the essence of Vader's personality so well.
