INCREDIBLY unrelated to this specific episode, but I have a theory:
Quantum masking isn’t real, Fu was just poisoning the water supply while he was still the guardian, and thus making Parisians more stupid. That’s why after season 3 ends, Ladybug and Cat Noir’s identities get discovered more often.

Honestly I would forgive the entire thing just for Max. The guy has the best costume ever, and it did what Ladybug couldnt by making him look DIFFERENT from his civilian identity. The dreadlocks, the white hair, it hides his eyes via the sunglasses.

How does the kid that uses a miraculous for like half an hour took more precautions on identity hiding than THE ladybug? Even Adrien has a entirely different demeanor and eyecolor!

Something that always bothered me about this episode is that Fu knows Adrian is in Mari’s class and for all he know he’s skipping the trip to stay in Paris in case of an akuma attack too. And yet Fu doesn’t offer Adrian a solution like he does Mari, he's just ok with him potentially missing his trip.
He could have given him the roster miraculous

I’m still a little upset that the entire episode happened because Max’s mom wasn’t patient enough to wait until the END of the day before assuming she failed. If you’re expecting an email on a specific day, you wait until the next day before assuming stuff like that! Heck, I have ADHD, and I would’ve just assumed it was taking a little longer than expected to send the email out.

1:40 my biggest problem with the show has always been that Gabe goes after people who stubbed their toe or got rejected by their crush instead of victims of actual crimes but honestly seeing how the villains in this show are already avengers level threats, maybe it's a good thing he doesn't akumatize people with an actual reason to be akumatized

You wanna know something that you made me realize… what happened to them using their weapons like oxygen masks, they used them for Queen wasp episode for both themselves and Chloe… they could have used those for the cabins without air, to at least seem believable

9:36 This rule disappears in Season 6 in A Fairy Good Night since Lila evolved her powers and akumatizes a child who takes refuge on the moon, and could still talk to them, which I can’t tell if that’s massive BS or if that’s a good thing for the plot that she evolve the butterfly miraculous‘s established powers
