Shane Gillis delivers a wild stand-up story about visiting George Washington’s plantation during COVID, where a simple museum tour turns into an awkward, uncomfortable, and hilarious experience involving reenactors, slave quarters, historical guilt, and George Washington’s disturbing legacy.

From becoming a “history buff” to slowly realizing what he’s actually walking into, Shane breaks down politics, race, history, and why some people say you “turn Republican” as you get older.

This clip includes Shane Gillis talking about George Washington, Mount Vernon, slavery history, museum tours gone wrong, white guilt, historical reenactors, and political comedy in America.

If you like dark humor, political comedy, stand-up storytelling, and viral comedy clips, this is one of Shane Gillis’ most unfiltered bits.
