Hey up, Nick! Further to my previous comment on some guidance on the GS515 set up, my 68 year old brain has got itself around the zeroing set up. Long press left - press down button to move to zeroing - middle button to enter - adjust retical left/right, up/down - short press middle - press down button to get to EXIT - press middle button. Then you're set, no need to turn off and back on after you've lined up the retical. Brilliant scope for the money. Big Steve, UK.
Spot on with the shimming, the strange thing is that when you go "out of range" with the zeroing, the reticle changes to a white circle with small cross hairs, this is still accurate but you cannot zoom or change the reticle.
Love the videos, you are very entertaining, and informative! Im located in the Southern United States, and actually wish i would ha e seen your video before i bought my Giyojo 5150 NV scope. I sure would have used your discount code! 😂
Digital is going to supercede glass before long. I would argue that glass is on the way out. The prices are only going to go down, or the tech gets better the more that manufacturers make them. I'm looking forward to getting one.
Hola Don Nick, me gustaría tener un visor así, pero por culpa de mis ojos no y mi cerebro no distingo los colores rojos y verdes.😢 Me tengo que conformar con ver como lo disfrutan los demás. Saludos Don Nick 👋👍
In theory it should withstand springer's recoil ("civilized"/tuned one), in spec there is "1000g/0.4ms", but wondering if you plan get one from Goyojo to test it on HW80, etc? I would want one... but PCP... I did try one, but it's not my thing...
I bought one of these… I’m pretty pleased with it on an Air Arms S410k. I also mounted it on a Reximex Mito. I managed to zero it using 5x zoom. My only question is when zeroing in at 10-15 or 20x . I wondering if it miscalculated on the higher zooms. I also used a much lower profile picatinny adaptor. I also had to shim it exactly as you explained in your previous video.🙏 BTW: the slightly annoying thing is that the NVision setting is way too bright… of course you can reduce brightness and exposure etc but when you switch to another mode and back again it doesn’t remember you brightness settings.
Unrelated comment sorry, are you fluent in French and if so how did you crack it and also, do you recommend the country as a whole.? Becoming facinated by the thought of a change from dreary UK lol could be an episode no?…😊
