The desert being cordoned off by a river feels a little unfair since desertification takes forever to cross bodies of water.

I love seeing all the infection places go to war while Desertification just minds it's own business

I love my petri dishes full of eldritch horrors

POV: You're a scientist who was just given a bunch of viruses to figure out how they work, and decided to throw them into the same plate just to see what would happen

I love how one mod just gives mobs random german names: gastgeber(host), brotkatze (bread cat), etc.

I love the idea of trapping the infections in large places inside the void, makes them actually fight each other for survival instead of doing anything but that!

these mods weren't balanced against eachother, but if they were; I imagine each infection would inhabit a different primary infection vector; Desertification would primarily affect exposed land, Spore would primarily affect wet and dark areas; Skulk primarily would affect the underground and compete for dark areas; and Phayriosis would primarily infect mobs

SCULK HORDE WINS BY DOING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!

Sculk: Land invaders
Pharyiosis: Mob killers
Spore: Unending resilience
Desertification: Angel of death

wait this would actually be a banger horror scifi setting.  Like earth is being plagued by several super viruses that are all fighting against each other, and humanity is just stuck between them all trying their best to stay alive

edit: i did find this manga with a similar setting called Versus.  First several chapters were fire, i recommend

Thanks again for using my mod (Desertification). The mod was not spawning any entities, wind gusts or overcharged/hypercharged sand roses due to being under a barrier roof (should be fixed, alongside other things, in the next version, 0.41).
Even if, gotta be honest, with these One Punch Inquisitors running around, there will get destroyed pretty easily (although it’ll be fun to watch them chase a dead Rolling Cactus around the dish, since they roll upon death).

Also if you’re doing a ant farm video with Desertification, even with the upcoming version, you’ll maybe want to have the chunks’ origins (X 0 and Z 0) in the ant farm for the desert to work fully (although I will also add a desert:check_state Mcfunction to check for the desert’s stats and hopefully tell you if there are obvious problems like these).
Finally, these new formats are pretty fun to watch.

As always I’m open to suggestions/feedback.

Massive fight all over the place, meanwhile large forest patch in the corner is just chilling in the wind.

Skulk when it comes to mass - "helmp me im spawning things"

Skulk when it comes to spreading - "I AM SPEED"

you should use /tick freeze so you can place all the infections down without either getting a head start

11:20 The reason skulk horde revives is because mobs walk on the spikes and take damage/die

That one time I forgot a ham sandwich in my schoolbag:

Every video i watch of this man the more i wanna add one of these infection mods to my "Quality of Life" modpack

12:43 its because evil spreds faster in hardmode

I know it is due to you wrapping the video but... why ignore a giant round mound erected on your left at 17:20? :V

3:53 quickly ignoring the making out infected skeletons
