🇿🇦 *GREEN & GOLD | A MOTORBIKE RIDE THROUGH THE CANOLA FIELDS OF THE CAPE 🌼🏍️*
What happens when you combine **motorbikes, the beautiful Cape countryside, endless green-and-gold canola fields, a water crossing, drone footage, and a little bit of mechanical drama? You get one unforgettable ride! 🇿🇦
Why be boring decides to head out on the bikes and explore the stunning canola fields of the Cape — and the colours couldn't be more proudly South African. With the fields glowing green and gold, they look almost like the colours of our mighty Springboks! 🟢🟡
We hit the open roads, ride through the countryside, and eventually find ourselves facing a water crossing. Of course, there's only one thing to do... go for it! 💦🏍️
But the adventure doesn't stop there.
We take the drones up into the sky to capture the incredible scenery from above, showing just how spectacular these fields look from a completely different perspective. The combination of the winding roads, motorcycles and massive fields of colour makes for some truly epic footage. 🚁🎥
And then there's a special moment in the ride.
In support of breast cancer awareness, I take the opportunity to run through the canola fields without a shirt, capturing footage from behind as a small reminder of the importance of breast cancer awareness, early detection and supporting those affected by breast cancer. 💗
Of course, no proper motorbike adventure would be complete without something going wrong...
Andres' motorbike chain decides to come off! 😂🔧
Thankfully, it's nothing we can't handle. After a bit of roadside mechanical work, the chain is back on, the bike is sorted, and we're ready to continue the adventure.
In the end, everything works out perfectly, and we come away with some absolutely beautiful footage of the Cape, the canola fields and an unforgettable day on two wheels.
This is what riding is all about — the adventure, the unexpected moments, the laughs, the scenery and the memories you make along the way.

That little restaurant was neat! Do they do blacksmithg there? Coincidentally, I'm a hobbyist blacksmith, would be super cool to ride to a place where I could do a little forging AND get a good breakfast!
