That Green Man story is honestly pretty sad.

In most of the countries where karaoke is a national past time, most people who sing are completely tone deaf.

Here's one for you, OP: Look up Voodoo Village in Memphis, TN. When I was growing up, I'd constantly hear tales of a neighborhood in South Memphis where, upon entering, you would get trapped by telephone poles / logs / trees being felled on either side of your car, and a group of cannibals / devil worshipers / gypsies (the rumors always grew in the telling) would ensure that you were never seen again. Finally, local reporter decided to get to the bottom of it, and what they found was an oddly decorated but otherwise pretty ordinary cul-de-sac of people with some fringe religious beliefs who mostly just want to be left alone. They've mostly been demystified since the local CBS affiliate did a feature segment on them, but it was the stuff of nightmares in the 1970s-80s.

After Sid Vicious's cover of "My Way," every other cover is a let down but certainly not anything to kill people over.

The dead body under the bed in Kansas City, MO was at The Capri Motel. It is permanently closed now.

Wait... a 12-year-old fell into a 150 foot deep sinkhole in Centralia, filled with carbon monoxide, and his friend was able to rescue him?  Actually, Google says the kid grabbed onto a tree root, so he wasn't that far down.

Frank Sinatra didn't like the song 'My Way".  He felt that it was a song "for jerks".

Grew up in NYC and my Scout troop would camp on Staten Island. The story of the Cropsy Maniac was told to scare us around the campfire.😅

They blamed the AC on the smell of a decomposing body...don't let me stay there...I would think the mattress would be lumpy...I love this channel😁

Centralia, PA isn't entirely abandoned.  There are about 5 people still living there who refuse to leave.

Great vid. Thanks

Gotta love that you used Room 217 for the first segment. IFKYK

0:16 I worked at small hotel in a small town on a major highway, i saw a lot of weird shit.  A lot.  People are weird, and everyone thinks because your room is quiet no one can hear you outside the room.  Stop doing weird shit in a hotel room!  It's gross cleaning it.

9:49 I guess that would have killed Sid Vicious for his cover on the song. 😂😂😂

In 1996 during the Olympics year in Atlanta I found a bulletproof vest under the box spring at my motel

Wonder if the toxic lady inspired the one mutant in X men they sent Wolverine to comfort and...deal with...since he dissolved anyone near him.

Crow known faces, spider adapt to routine, human do both + knowing routine.

A small amount of DMSO, rubbed in with e.g. a cotton pad, is really good at reducing inflammation of soft tissue, muscles and nerves, etc. and arthritis.
