Oof, they slow walked you girl. For anyone else considering starting HRT the tech is to order DIY estrogen vials as soon as you know you want to try it. They’ll take around a month to arrive (depending on supplier) but at least it’s usually just that. That way you have a backup if they start doing the months long slow walk scheduling thing. And you have leverage to push for proper monotherapy injection HRT instead of pills and blockers.
Was gnc for a year, then 4~6 months looking for a place with my insurance while identifying as trans till i got on hrt My butt friend kept telling me to calm down cause i was "too excited"
11:14 That joke was almost a Miss but it ended up being a hit. 11:54 It might help to cover your limbs with long sleeves to deal with sensory stimulation.
I only had to wait 2 weeks for an appointment at the hospital and I got my HRT prescription on my first doctor visit. But there was some confusion about it and I didn't pick it up that first day even though I could have. So I started it a little later on the morning of September 9'th in 2025. It's nice I didn't have to wait long at all. I was in denial for 20 years after my egg cracked at 19. The thing that took the longest was getting my health insurance set up beforehand which took almost 3 months to sort out. But if I had the rich parents cheat I could have skipped that. My health insurance pays for everything, Doctor Visits, HRT meds, and Electrolysis.
My partner said, "what if your doctor makes your cross-dress for a year [before they give you HRT]?" So I socially transitioned. Easy. I don't think that was what they were looking for, lol. (I start week #3 on Wednesday!) [as it turns out, the docs DO expect me to live as my stated gender for 1 year.. IF I want them to cut-off my balls.... that too seems antiquated, since I'm 57 years old, but I can deal with wedgies for a year, I guess.
I've been loving your videos! They've been helping me with the wait for HRT myself. I have the appointment to get it set up on Monday and I'm so excited! Im looking forward to hearing more stories and any changes you've noticed early on ✨🫰
