As AI rapidly expands into domains of human intellect and creativity, fundamental questions are being raised about what remains distinctly human in the age of machines. The art world today points to AI’s tendency to compress context and cultural memory, while simultaneously recognizing its ability to offer new ways of seeing beyond human reach. Likewise, the tech community suggests a perspective of "co-intelligence"—positing that a computational approach toward extrapolation, which reaches beyond existing data boundaries, achieves meaningful creativity only when combined with an artist’s perspective and human value judgment.

At this intersection, Guggenheim New York and LG are convening a space for dialogue.

This session presents a vision for the 'co-evolution' of art and technology—one in which human and machine expand each other’s possibilities, rather than simply reproducing existing culture.
