People who say that “Living a better life is the best revenge” wouldn’t know revenge if it hit ‘em in the face.

The second story is why I will only tell people I trust with my life about my severe scorpion phobia. People have used this fact to try to scare me, and inevitably send me into a full-on panic attack thinking it's funny.

"My wink as a threat my wink as a threat my wink as a threat my wink as a threat"

martyrdom perk. Though the respawn time is a couple days for some reason.

There is a reason there are so many group project stories on here… reinforcing my long held belief that group projects are the WORST. Give me a killer exam or super long paper any day.

Nta. They threw you overboard. They knew you had a huge fear. They shouldnt have been such idiots.

I have a water phobia too, sometimes even with swimming pools, and when people try to push me in I start screaming and scratching. My parents no longer try this since they’ve both separately run outside when I was screaming bloody murder because the other tried it.

OP shouldn’t have chipped in for a replacement phone, that guy deserved it.

First story: I'll bet that girl he was trying to talk up saw it as some instant karma too.

6 years i worked at a well known office supply store, they treated me like shit (even by retail standards) at the end when i simply couldnt take it anymore and i knew they were just aching for an excuse to finally fire me i fired off an email to corporate hr. not about the mistreatment but all the scams, shady deals, and fudging of numbers i knew was going on.

When I was 4, my uncle decided he was going to teach me how to swim. I have a severe phobia of water and within a minute or so he looked like he'd been attacked and nearly drowned by a badger with human teeth. My brother (same age as my uncle) rescued me and idk what he said to my uncle but the man never came within a meter of me again

9:33 Oh come on!

I just finished a 5 hour session of the board game "Risk" at a new years party... I won the game at the last second after my brother (very much winning the game by this point) made a massive blunder and got his entire army stuck on Australia.
After ending his turn, I took the opportunity to strike and accomplish my secret mission victory by eliminating my father's last piece on the board (my secret mission was to eliminate all blue troops)...
I'd essentially said: "I KNOW I'M GOING DOWN IN THE NEXT MOVE AGAINST ME! I'LL GIVE YOU ALL I'VE GOT!" ... Casually won the match, pissed everyone off, and am now going to bed.

As it shred my wink As it shred my wink As it shred my wink As it shred my wink

That story at 9:54 made me facepalm. Barry’s a traitor

The fact that almost all of these are "I was assigned to a group for a project in school and it was a disaster" really says a lot. I swear SO MANY people have that same story, myself included. I don't think those projects teach anyone teamwork, time management, or what have you -- they just show you how spectacularly frustrated you can get with people you're forced to work with.

Incidentally, after a few of us complained to our sophomore bio teacher that we were tired of pulling the weight of our assigned groups (who inevitably left most of the work to us), she let us pick our own groups but said there would be NO leeway. If one person failed, you all failed. My friend and I worked together for the rest of the year and pretty much aced everything while the people who'd been holding us back failed miserably on their own. Sucks to suck, slackers.

Every time I click on your videos, I am amazed by these stories, thank you for entertaining me and thousands of others

This is why they need to overhaul how group projects are graded. There needs to be individual grades/deadlines to make sure each person is contributing, not making them dependent on each other for the grade because that never ends well (speaking as someone who admittedly was a slacker. Priorities weren’t…and still kind of aren’t if I’m honest…very good)

For the grapefruit one op only told us his brother had a better moral compass

The group work one reminds me of something that happened in a math case.  We had to work on a group project and we did the prelim worksheet and got a 70%.  This one girl was so mad.  She said we had to get better on the final project.  The teacher had put in red everything we needed to to fix and then we had to make slides to present to the class.  As we are working on fixing everything the girl kept putting her idea in for the slide presentation.  She claimed that the population of our state had to do with teen pregnancy and she could add slides about her teen pregnancy.  We all (including the teacher) told her no that is was not fit for this project.   I finished typing up the rest of the paper and gave it to the group to do the slides.  The assignment sheet told us exactly what should be on each slide.  The next morning the day of the presentation she shows me the slides.  She has redone the entire project the way she wanted including her teen pregnancy story.  The entire second half was her telling her story.  The teacher asked her where they y value was so she was clicking through the slides like crazy.  I told her to stop because they had taken none of the slides from the report.  The whole class fell silent.  This girl who is 18 and has a child sat down and pouted the rest of the class.  We all failed the presentation.
