Japan labels a ton of amazing custom Gunpla as "junk" (ジャンク品)… so I bought 7 of them to find out if they actually deserve it. Hand-painted, weathered and heavily customized kits, some with full dioramas, for as little as $17. Are Japan's junk Gunpla actually junk? Let's investigate!

These may include: pre-built or straight build gunpla, incomplete or missing parts, broken or glued, poorly built or half finished kits. Sometimes even separate bags of parts. Anything that can't be sold new or second hand in the original box and untouched.
It mostly has value for people who like to kitbash and customize, practice painting or gunpla restoration.
